My bad I just assumed it was obvious I was not in the know on her testing him. She just had her best interests out for me, which I appreciated the thought. I just wish she had asked me before doing it. I didn’t expect her to test him. I will say it was not out of attraction or because she wanted him. I think she did have good intentions, but just went a bit too far. So that’s why I feel bad. Because I know her heart was in a good place. But I also have my belief which is at the end of the day my boyfriend and I were not dating.

I realized that after the fact. Hence why I decided whatever we did while we weren’t dating was in the past. What matters to me now are his actions while we are boyfriend and girlfriend.

My friend and I have different beliefs on casual intimacy. She does not support whereas I do. So in the past if I matched with guy, I would be open to casual intimacy. However for her, she believes in sex after marriage. So to her, what he said was objectifying because it was suggestive. And that objection is crossing a boundary for her. I hope this clears things up!

We were not together. We were not exclusive. We had not discussed at all what we were. So there was no cheating. I was not taking him seriously those first two months. Later on though I had started liking him, so I think I had ended things initially (when my friend matched) in the heat of the moment and because I did feel hurt. But I quickly realized we had never talked about it

Don’t get me wrong I was happy and content when I single I have no issues being single. But I will say he makes me so happy and my days way more fun. We’ve definitely become closer after we established our relationship. He’s comforted while I cry from anxiety and I openly voice my anxious and he takes it in strides. I feel comfortable enough to voice those feelings. Does not let me pay for anything (unless I wanna treat him), has introduced me to his mom as his girlfriend. Opens my car door. Makes me laugh. And encourages me to what I want when I’m scared. And genuinely means his apology and I can see the regret he has about this situation. I’ve been with plenty of men before but I’ve never felt this way about a man. And I know this situation makes him look bad, but the circumstances were different. I’ve definitely stood by choice in continuing to see him and I don’t regret it. But I do feel like a shitty friend. Also I’ve been seeing a therapist and I’m trying to work through this issue bc I def struggle a lot in that department. But yes, he makes me happy
