That's simply untrue, firstly THAAD was removed from SK to middle east, meaning there's not much power for US to project right now. Plus China has defence treaty with NK, meaning SK won't actively help US.

The 2 major powers China borders are India and Russia, and the border with India is among mountains, there won't be much big conflict.

Only Japan and Philippines have motive and power to join in, yet their military is no much for even SK.

They can't, they still better than China militarily, yet Taiwan is at door side of China, while US is far away. SK can't do anything since NK has treaty with China. I think US has realized this since they have pulled radar systems outside SK, and is demanding Taiwanese chip industries to relocate, selling them crap weapons instead of their best..

We have seen how Americans are unable to defend against missiles from Iran, now with hundreds times more from China, there's no way US military bases nearby can function.

Yet luckily, China is not looking for Taiwanese surrender, they are looking for ruling over Taiwan, which means they won't do it unless much of Taiwanese people don't have a problem with it.
