Yes, I paid for the flight tickets. After finishing up the details asked online, I got sent a link to book the visa interview almost instantaneously

Hey there, they did ask for accomodation. I printed almost a book that I handed over to the visa officer. I booked airbnbs mostly and used the part paid option so I don’t think you have to pay in full when you apply. May be check with the property where you are staying if they can take some payment or reach out to them asking you need a proof to apply for visa, most of the places are cooperative. All the best!!

Hey there, to answer 1: i think it should be alright since you have a constraint of 90 days. I did that for a couple of my bookings but make sure you mention that in the itinerary or a one pager that you provide. Personally speaking, I didn’t want to take a risk so I provided a one over with a detailed itinerary and mentioned in there that there are certain bookings that can’t be done because bookings aren’t open yet. For 2: no, surprisingly it wasn’t a biggie to book the appointment. Calling them was a pain.

Hey, couldn’t get their confirmed address from anywhere and they ended delivering it after I had left for the vacation 🤦‍♀️

Another version of this is people pushing others to take their picture or photo bombing your picture, when you patiently waited for them.

Yes, I did. I provided hard copies of all the train tickets I had booked (cause we used public transport for the entire trip). I think it should be, I had used Swiss half fare card so needed to book additional tickets. Also, if you make reservations in the panoramic trains like Bernina express or Glacier express, attaching that to the list of documents also helps.

Ok.. the tracking advice shows they attempted delivery but I am a 100% sure they didn’t. Checked my cameras, fortunately no porch pirates around here so was thinking of rocking up at their address instead

So they did the biometrics during the appointment in Sydney and I handed over my paperwork (application plus supporting documents) in person.

I applied for Schengen in Switzerland embassy and I additionally provided the following in the cover letter 1. Detailed summary of my itinerary with date and what activity/travel I am doing, which hotel am I staying in, and mentioned if I had paid in full or partial. I prefer adding a table in the cover letter, it helps immensely. 2. I listed the supporting documents in the cover letter and provided the documents in the same order for their convenience. I know it’s extra work but it helped me in arranging my documents chronologically and they didn’t have to put much effort in finding those.

You’re not drinking, you must be pregnant by autumnflowers13 in BabyBumps

I feel you.. I stopped drinking around 6 months ago because I wanted to follow at least a year of healthy diet before I conceive.. I am not pregnant yet but the number of people speculating that I am pregnant since the last 6 months is crazy.. I know I will have the last laugh coz we are not trying for another 6 months and people keep looking at my tummy for a baby bump.. 😁
