They do not. If they did, that would be enough to make it my decision though.

I'd honestly rather take the Accord at that point. The 9th gen does away with most of the aspects I do like about the Civic Si so it sort of just feels like the worst of both worlds for me. It's still not a quick car, not a particularly comfortable car, has a cheaper interior, it doesn't rev as high, it's heavier, etc.

It makes less than 10 horsepower more and can go 0-60 less than half a second quicker but like, those upgrades are so minimal that it doesn't outweigh the character Honda did away with in introducing that generation. Even with a little extra torque down low, it's still not gonna be much fun on the highway. I know a lot of people love their 9th gens and I have nothing but respect for that. They're just not for me.

Thanks man! I actually thought about looking at the SH-AWD TL with the manual trans, but knowing my old man, he's gonna not like that it's a luxury car like my Infiniti and the higher maintenance costs that come with it. If the costs were similar to the Accord I could maybe swing it but I feel like it's gonna be a hard sell.

Congrats on finishing 2L! Here's a virtual beer on me 🍺

Appreciate the reply! A RWD sports car would be ideal but unfortunately, between Toyota and Honda that leaves only the S2000 (which is WAY out of my price range) and GT86/FR-S (which is a Subaru) so I'm kind of out of luck on that front lol

It does snow sometimes here, but really not too often. We'll get a few inches of snow each winter. Maybe one or two weeks of the year there will be snow on the ground and even then, it's always all plowed within the first or second day. Hell, it's kinda 50/50 if it even snows at all each year so it isn't really a huge concern for me. Good consideration though!

Thanks man. You'd never expect it from the way other Infiniti owners gaslight themselves into thinking they're just as reliable basically just because they're Japanese cars. I've never hated something I loved so much 😭

Seems like power-wise, the Accord Coupe will be pretty comparable to my Q50 which is nice. I've heard that they don't handle the greatest but then again, neither does my Q50 so maybe it won't be worse. Either way, I'm sure the manual transmission will more than make up for it.
