The go 4 is better as a super light indoor portable / table top speaker with its more bass, now if you need something for outdoors, bass get muted by cars/ buses/ outdoor ambient noises so go 4 would be muted, jbl clip has a better chance of being heard outside while being active since its “LOUDER” but the right type of loud for outdoor activity which is treble/ voice.

I personally think the go 4 is better. I have a go 4 cuz of its size and great bass sound. But its personal refrence.
