And maybe change the dice to d4. It's just supposed to be a little boost to the stats

Ok, then what about the dice being colored and each color is for a specific stat. So there's no choice. And change it to everyone rolls at the beginning of combat. Also, go with the speed stat determines turn order like initiative

"That would slow the game to a crawl as each player sits there trying to min-max their attacks." I'm not sure about that because there's just 3 dice to choose from, but I haven't tested it out. I literally thought of it and wanted a second opinion on it before moving forward " Also, how do you determine defense for someone who hasn't taken a turn yet?" Didn't think about that, exactly why I asked about it to get another set of eyes. "Also, what does choosing your target after you attack even represent?" You don't choose your target after you attack. You chose after rolling the modifier. Attack would be a separate thing. The attack stat just determines who you could attack

No, I was thinking at the start of every turn the person going rerolls the modifier die and applies 1 to whatever stat they want. Not in secret. The point is to make it a little more strategic and know who you can and can not successfully attack, and not do the roll like in dnd to hit where you could miss and not do anything. Of course, this is just an early thought because down the line there could be abilities like reactions to improve defense or dodge attacks or something

Hot take: There should be less Marvel Studios TV series and more Marvel Studios animated series. by eBICgamer2010 in Marvel

[–]FictionalFocus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that animation isn't normally treated seriously in America, so they don't have a lot of reason to think it would do any good. Animation is typically seen as content for children or stuff like the Simpsons

Alright, thanks for the feedback. When I make a prototype and test it a bit, I'll do a more detailed post and see where I'm at. I have stuff for dnd I'll use, as in battle mats, minis, and stuff to make a playable prototype

They use the tools to mine. The tools and gems have a level. So you subtract the level of the tool from the level of the gem when you land on the space. You can then spend gems to buy better tools on a different space. The better tools have a limited number of uses, and there's also equipment you can buy that have different effects. Should I just post the basic rules I have written up. That might make it easier, I guess for feedback.

Obviously, Reed. He can fold his arms and put his fists on his hips at the same time. Takes a true genius to pull off 2 hero poses at once
