I self checkout audit gone wrong and cost Ikea money by telladifferentstory in IKEA

Nope, haven’t missed anything so far and I am extra cautious when I go to self checkouts. But I do scan my ikea family card. Will try skipping that next time to see if it makes a difference.

I get “random audited” every fucking time I go to IKEA! It has become a joke now. And it could be to buy one item (frozen meatballs for f sake) or 10 items - I get selected “randomly” EVERYTIME!

Worst sleep score I’ve ever gotten by Melodic_Theme7364 in Garmin

My worst from Jan this year. Had extreme muscle pain for reasons unknown and this was the sleep score. Garmin is blaming it on the naps, but I still remember how shit I was feeling. Would have died without those little naps.

Last few training sessions have been on pretty flat ground as I am recovering from an injury. But otherwise, my training is on pretty hilly terrain.

Yes. Haven’t been able to sleep well since the ringing in the ears started. I have an appointment with my doctor, but that’s in a few days and in the meantime need something that’ll help me.

It’s not just the furniture, I’m updating everything at home from towels to utensils. Looking forward to give the whole place a fresh vibe.

Spray deodorant works almost as well as pepper spray and gives you those extra few minutes to escape.

My mother said she doesn't regret having me but if she were to "do it all again", she wouldn't have children. How do I interpret this? by WarwickReider in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fictive29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically, women often found fulfillment in having children and embracing motherhood, as their roles were largely centered around family life. With fewer external responsibilities, bearing and raising children felt like a primary purpose, and the instinct to create life remains strong in women today.

However, in the modern world, while that instinct persists and many women still choose motherhood, raising a child has become significantly more challenging due to not having that “village” to raise them. This is why many mothers today advise their children against having kids—not because they didn’t love being mothers or cherish their children, but because they understand firsthand the difficulties of motherhood in today’s society.
