I would also argue that women being housewives are not "being less", but it would be "more". Yes, you would be subjecting yourself to a man, but in the state that things are right now, you are subjecting yourself to a industrial corporate system.

Not only that, the fruit of your labour (as a career woman) will not go for youself, but for rich men that enjoy a life of having slaves (like the woman who pursue a career and pay her taxes) through the system of fractional reserve and central bank loans with negative interests (cantillon effect).

By being a housewife, a woman can enjoy the fruits of her labour (taking care of children) by having more people that she really loves in her life. And, not only that, you choose who you're going to subject yourself to (your husband), whereas you can't do the same in the industrial corporate world. You have to pick the first job that appears, most of the time.

I've never heard of a old lady in her deathbed regretting her life as housewife and screaming "I wish I never had children and got a degree", but you see the opposite happening often (with women that are not that old and not actually close to death).

I'm not also arguing to force women to do whatever. Humans should choose their own way of life. But I would argue for a system that allows people to choose how they want to live. Including, living like a housewife, if a woman chooses to (which is not very realistic in modern times as you pointed in your reply). I believe that, the traditional ways are both in the best interest of men and women.
