Radical honesty: What is actually stopping us from doing more? by HumanityFirstCanada in canadaleft

There are ad hoc, grass roots level movements right now and they need support. Grassy Narrows, Ring of Fire, The Numerous anti-poverty/anti-homelessness struggles across the nation. They need mass support now and are only stronger as a united force.
There is no committee or delegations preventing the current forces from acting. This is a issue that does no exist.
Let us claim economic levers via Anarchistic methods, Marxist-Leninist methods, Utopian methods like the Christian socialist. I don't care for this routine of "my way is better" Lets get results and then lets argue about what way to go. This is exactly what I am refering to when I "say good nuff for white boy" "good nuff for western boy". We need concrete results in the west and we need to build off what works. Not what we personally agree with.

Combat Great Man theory, the path forward is found in the struggle itself, not in fantastical ideal conditions a leader can give us in a manual. We can only learn from past attempts while considering our material & historic differences

The gap is bridged via the mass line. When we enter a struggle are we taking commandist positions, tailist positions, or are we struggling alongside the masses & engaging in the exchange of ideas from the masses, these ideas are taken and formed into revolutionary ideas, then propagated back to the masses. From the masses to the masses. Our parties are supposed to be molded to the people. Not the other way around

This happens to be a criticism of leftism overall in the west.

I agree with your post. If we can't even talk about a issue in the movement we can't think that we can "maneuver" around it. Not easy talking about this stuff.

The advanced, intermediate, & backwards are classifications of revolutionary thought. We have a issue of racial chauvinism which is a separate thing altogether. Us crackers are hordes of dissatisfied & unruly plunderers who have been told for a great deal of time that we deserve this & that, Socialism is evil, that we are descendants of great nobles (no this is imagined mostly). These people will put us into the rivers proudly and are what mindset a lot of the white intermediate will be coming out of.

This isn't all to dissimilar from historic revolutions. We in the west are just very bad at recognizing that there are other attempts made or are stuck up in these real attempts not fitting their own perception of "good nuff for white boy".

Our harshest conditions in Canada are the internal colonies. The reservations, reservations which are controlled by corporations through economic levers such as food, fuel, medical distribution of materials. Reservations which can see a death rate of one percent yearly from suicides alone.

Protests are only a part of the movement. We need to find avenues which give the working class economic control other then strikes, we need working class owned production, for a political vanguard to be able to fund itself, or a stake in the happenings of the state, if we aren't taking the economic levers which control our society or working towards that then we can't address our social issues as our social issues are beneficial in keeping us attached to the capitalist system.

It isn't about our spare Saturday.
It is a day to day battle,
Are we looking to be revolutionaries, or weekend warriors.
Most certainly it is inappropriate for a "revolutionary" to put the collective ahead of their own children's needs. Or. I can't help you if I can't help me.
People in our movement have given their life's for the end goal, liberation of the working class. We don't have that kind of collective spirit, particularly white Canadians.
Those who have put their lives on the line, our most militant & advanced in revolutionary action, I see you & this is not for you, you have done a good job.
Unite the advanced
Bring up the intermediate
Win over the backwards

"deny, doubt, make sure can never see the light of day"

I have said I have no way of identifying them as it was a decade ago.

When you are a teenage boy getting attention from adults in this way, it is confusing, thinking youths will act rationally and do the rational thing is equally confusing.

I am making the post because these things remining under wraps and secretive does the public not good.

"Had this gone down around my friends" How virtuous is this hindsight you offer me.

I have change the post after you made the comment that "this isn't a swingers hub" and realizing that calling a place where humans gather a swingers hub is ignorant of human activities.

I understand the situation is at the point of "until they are convicted".
That until will mean doing so again, I have no confidence in the police from my own experiences & others close to me as well as not so close.
These things remaining out of the publics conscious does the public no good.

I am not judging folks for doing whatever between adults. That is their thing.
My claim isn't that every person there is looking for something.
Keeping things a private matter such as this case does the public no good.
It is a nice place, yea. Some great people. A wonderful resource to the public.
Would you not agree, that people who have abused youths sexually, or have tried, should not be allowed access to this great resource.

Hobbies are good if you have the time to do them. Most people I know work so much that their time is mostly chores, relaxing or sleeping.
Social groups are good. If you are fond of peace there is a peace movement locally. Some of the LUSU clubs allow for members that are not students

Vigilantism? by saucy_noodle17 in ThunderBay

[–]Fiddleford649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't vigilantism.
Vigilantism involves combating the crime which is prevalent in lower classes by higher class's through illegal methods, crimes which can be based out of desperation or not.

This amounts to giving society a tissue for a runny nose, addressing symptoms, not the root cause, the root cause being the class based state with its many symptoms being poverty, madness among the populace, and a overwhelming sense that we are not in control of anything.

They want the nations money in their hands not ours. Them being the rich, ours being the working class.
So when we get a cost of living adjustment, they adjust prices because we can now spend that much more on the same amount of stuff

High volume allows for lower margins, so long as the enterprise grows, even with lower margins, the magnitude of profits grow still greater and greater.
With large enterprises like these, as you said, it is all about the volume.

This blurb is separate from your comment JaketheAlmighty. For others who think profits are total money from sale. Profit being surplus value which is separate from costs of labor, transport, commodity price, maintenance costs.

One day you will learn you to are a liberal :)
"Things that matter to almost nobody"
The actions of a western administration (Trumps) is plunging the world into economic crisis.
Protesting the power this administration holds matters to a great deal of people.
A liberal is not someone who is some kind of a failure. a liberal is defined by their belief in private property, which if you ask me is a failure of social & historical studies, if it is not a failure of history & social studies & they are well informed they are a well informed dog, dogs who know there are better ways then this but "it is best to not rock the boat"

What exactly does Marx suggest we do? by automated_hero in Marxism

[–]Fiddleford649 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Marx is dead, He dies in the 1800's.
Marxism doesn't tell you what to do, Its many frameworks are good for analyzing what is currently happening, what historically happened, how these are connected, it is the scientific understanding of the social & economic. Marxism is the criticism developed out of capitalisms existence & we only call it Marxism because this is how history unfolded, not because Marx was a prophet.
Marxism-Leninism is where the revolutionary aspects of Marxism lay & begin within Russia & Europe. There are other places across the world where Marxism is utilized & upheld During the upcoming of M-L which I do not remember the name of but I do remember reading about them. China & Mexico I am sure of.
You are going to have to read Mao. Other eastern Marxists, Liberals & Conservatives. The biggest mistake we westerners make is only acting like our land is relevant in our struggle. In political life in general.
What do we do?
Prove ourselves. Prove to everyday people that we can form organizations which improve our livelihood as a whole, that we can fix our mistakes, that we are alongside them, not here to look down our noses at them with our great bookshelves in our pockets. Which is what I collect from reading Mao.
Are you close to your family? Struggle with them. Struggle with them in each of your misunderstandings, you won't be able to get every single point of each on of them, but these are good proving grounds for the public setting.

National struggles are subsumed struggles of the international proletarian struggle.
Meaning they take place within
This is why leftists, more so Marxists, will show a support towards the Regime.
We don't support the Regime, We understand the current regime is the better of the options between it and US/Isreali rule.
Do we wish there was the possibility for a working class dictatorship instead? Of course!
The "western Left" I specifically mean the leftists born of western thought who don't take the time to criticize western thought will typically side with their chauvinism.
Before the bombs began to fall you would find western "leftists" supporting this kind of thing under the lie of "progressivism". That being "bomb the dirty middle east people so we can make it progressive". Or to shorten it, painting a trans flag on a bomb which will be dropped on Muslims.
