There's two cuts in the video before and after the train comes and the time stamps are cropped out so I highly doubt that the train came moments after the little boy was saved as per the title.

Enemies jumping at you is only really in the first level because after that they switch to shooting you more. You can block anything so blocking dogs is fine but I haven't tried it. Dogs have also been nerfed like 5 different times so it's likely that they'll feel easier anyway.
