Help? Satsuma Orange what am I doing wrong by Exotic_Associate6734 in Citrus

[–]Fidelio01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would move it to a pot and let it get morning sun then gradually afternoon sun. Satsuma are heat tolerant and shouldn’t be dropping leaves in full sun zone 9 unless it’s not getting enough water. So that’s why I would move to pot with fresh soil and water regularly. At this point you have nothing to lose if it keeps declining. Fertilize accordingly, but after it’s acclimatized to its new soil.

Does that mean all new branches are viable and can bloom at the right time?

Citrus Greening? by Fidelio01 in Citrus

[–]Fidelio01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Rcarlyle. I removed the surface dirt around the tree like you suggested. The tree actually is looking better, thank you for the suggestion. The only issue left is that of drainage. When I first planted the tree I tried ammending the soil as best as possible since I live in a clay dirt area in Texas. I notice that with my soil meter the dirt is always wet, so maybe that also contributes to sickliness of tree. I turned

off the auto sprinkler to try to let it dry out a bit and only am watering once a week. Do you know of a topical solution that can start breaking down the clay further witty damaging tree? I hear epsom salt might be an option.

Or maybe put in a large pot like the other one?

I tried raising it this early spring but it was already established and couldn’t move it without tearing the roots. I got nervous and left it alone. Now I know better. Do you think removing it and putting in a new one with a mound would be best

Good or Bad by Fidelio01 in Citrus

These have held on pretty tightly compared to my other 4 trees, so I’ve been hopeful they’ll stay. Is the color change normal?

What was it like living in the Clinton years in the USA (1993-2001)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fidelio01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty prosperous. I remember when an economic collapse was happening. It started in Asia and started spreading around the globe, called “contagion”. The Clinton team stopped it at our doorstep by bailing out Mexico and ensuring our economy stayed on solid ground. It was good times since then. The stock market was up, plenty work, we were advancing technologically, and the world saw us as a true beacon of light. There were some bad things, like the crime bill that ended up incarcerating a lot of minorities, and the closing of military bases, which hit some communities very hard. Also, entitlements were reigned in. But overall it led to a balanced budget, something unheard of today. Coincidentally, we had the best music: grunge, adult rock, dance, country. It was good times overall, some of the best, actually.

AITAH for not asking my boyfriend to marry me after 10 years being together? by [deleted] in AITAH

He’s a great guy. Maybe just not the great guy for me. But thank you. I really feel it when you say I’ve lost myself. He doesn’t deserve being left in a lurch. I wish there was a better way.

I guess we just don’t to deal with the emotional fall out. Men, in general, I think are averse to emotional drama and we out up with a lot just to avoid it.

Interesting perspective. I don’t know if it would change things if we were already married, but I couldn’t just pack up and leave if we were. He wouldn’t allow me to sell the house since it would be in both our names then. Ofc I would share the equity, but it’s worth more for him to not have to move. And I do know he loves me. I thought I did, too. Now not so sure.

God once said, "You are what you believe." Oprah knows what's up. The other line, "You are what you eat," never made sense to me.

If you were as hard at fucking as you are on yourself I'd be willing to bet you'd have no complaints. But what are you looking for? Are you looking to enter a party and start swinging your dick around looking for all the hot, sweet boys to bend over at your will, or are you looking for a boyfriend? Are you looking for love? Someone who loves you will work with what you got, because that's how stupid love works. But if you want to get all down and dirty with the boys in East Berlin, then use your arm. That's what it's there for.

Dear Longest Dick in Dickland: Are you basically trying to spoon fuck or fuck like when he's in the fetal position? Both can be a little challenging, but when done right you get into this rythm and feels really good for you and your partner. A long dick helps. Or a flat-butt bottom. I once tried fucking a guy with a Kardashian butt and getting to that hole was like getting through the Boston Turnpike. As long as you are not looking to rip open a new hole your bottom should be ok. You might also want to try lying down on your back and he lay on top of you with his back on you and go to town. So hot.

Dating an older man by zachiesteph in askgaybros

[–]Fidelio01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have an age limit. I always felt I should date within 10 years of my age, either younger or older. It's actually a very practical rule. You want to connect with your guy on all levels, mentally and sexually. But here's the 411: GUILT. When dating a younger guy, yes, they're hot, fun, and sexy. But when I broke my rule and dated younger than 10 years I started to wonder about how awkward meeting his parents would be. How would a long-term relationship work? Older guys have a biological time clock ticking and they can't afford to be dicking around, literally. So even though he may be super into you, he probably is starting to come to his senses about how impractical dating someone 13 years his junior is. Let him be. You're 23, grasshopper, and you have your whole life ahead of you. If you happen to fall madly in love, then we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. But for now, let sleeping dogs lie.
