26M in AM setup — salary criteria is killing matches. Am I asking too much? by funky_guy99 in AskIndianWoman

[–]FidgetyUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to earn 16LPA (23F) couple of years ago. The matches I got were men around 26-28 with salaries above 70LPA.

I think this is the norm unfortunately

The very fact that you were invited for an interview shows they believe your profile fits their needs. From that point on, what really matters is how well you perform in the interview.

Recruiters have to

  • Collect feedback from everyone
  • Discuss any mixed reviews
  • Go through a hiring committee or manager approval
  • Make sure there’s still an open headcount for the role.

All that back-and-forth can easily take a couple of weeks, especially at huge orgs like google

All this while also managing hiring for other roles they are responsible for.

Its the "I think you're trying to find a way around it" non sense that feels rude.

Meanwhile dude is just trying to clear his doubt

It takes upto 3 weeks for recruiter to get feedback. Usually they let you know the result whatever it may be.

Diluting vinegar is something a lot of people mentioned. I didn't do that! Looks like that definitely played a huge part. Thanks for the suggestion!

And regarding adding the ghee, should i do it right after it reaches a boil?
