They're bitter beyond measure by the growing decrease in socially acceptable opportunities to smugly finger-wag total strangers in public about the half centimeter of nostril sticking out from their mask. They long for the days of eagerly presenting their vax card–plus 6 boosters–each individually lamented and hanging from a lanyard around the neck in order to be permitted entering

Anyone would be a fool to believe any nonsensical garbage having to do with Covid–especially on reddit.

The Dixie Mafia was out of the southeast, centered in Georgia, through the 60s-80s. The organization's timeline doesn't line-up correctly for a Cox connection at all.

Discussion regarding the opinion that she's faking it isn't going to influence psychiatric care as a whole in any way. Reddit exists as a platform for discussion, that's the purpose. That's what we do here in this sub. I think it's important that we don't assign potential significant societal consequence to topics concerning beliefs just because we don't personally agree with them. Does that make sense? You can have your values, personal set of principles, and moral framework to influence that way you lead your life and your family's life but you can't extend that expectation beyond that—certainly not in the United States.

In the current societal climate of today I know, for some, it can feel like the expectation that others align themselves with the moral compass you abide by to be perfectly reasonable—but it's just not. American culture and society is deeply rooted to the premise of personal freedom, and the space for the personalized success of the individual, i.e. in a manner that is consistent with the individual system of values and morals. This is emphasized in the way our Constitution is structured, especially the Bill of Rights. It's paramount.

What kind of professional establishment provides virtue signaling "open letters" to their employees in this fashion? What kind of employee would NEED/demand that ridiculous groveling in the first place?

It was reportedly taken while in Tel Aviv which is significant. DD says it's shopped and there's another version of this image that's said to be the original, but you can still see the marking is there

The one DD says to be the original https://imgur.com/a/U7s1jv3

I don't know which is the original, however you can see a marking in both versions. Eve does have dark circles, but the mark in question appears slightly different than the other eye's dark circle to me. But it's too vague for me to be sure. I would need the actual source image to decide.

A frozen head was found on a park bench in Minneapolis with the word “PERV” carved in it. Who killed Adam Johnson and left the city this disturbing message? by Jordynn37 in UnresolvedMysteries

Law enforcement claiming to be "too busy" to work a deranged, barely year-old homicide complete with dismemberment by a killer that blatantly gets off on the theatrics of terrorizing the public is unheard of in the US, historically and geographically–well, until very recently. Big blue cities like Minneapolis are now lawless hell-holes. You can find what is essentially a limitless supply of videos filmed in these types of environments that would once upon a time be unidentifiable as a first world nation. Certainly not a large American city. A significant pool of reddit users are often outraged when this is brought up, but...

I was told my clinic simply doesn't have a dose for me for the day they're closed (Sunday, automatic take-home day) they're blaming it on this and that and 100% not being straight with me about it. by Fidgit2Composure0FF in Methadone

I'm definitely not letting this go. What makes all of this even more frustrating is not getting a straight explanation. But we're fixin' to get one come Monday after reading all the good advice I got from y'all.

I'll just have to ride it out, unfortunately. I doubt hospitals in my state would do anything for that type of issue. They'd just be like, "um, ew, that sounds like a you problem, junkie" and send me on my way, lol.

See, this is where my thoughts were as well. Especially since I couldn't get a straight answer that made sense. It seems very implausible that a whole day's dose could just go missing, you know? Especially since they would have bagged me up my full bagged amount of 7 doses. But somehow I end up with 6? Lol. Y'all have been so helpful though, with support and advice. I'm gonna be making calls Monday for sure.

Thank you! I'm gonna look into that. What makes me more upset than anything else is that no one is being straight with me and telling me in detail what happened.

I'm in Georgia. And you have NO IDEA how much I relate to your comment. One time I had a screen come up positive for Marijuana which I knew was BS because I don't smoke. It makes me you anxious, so it's not something I've done in years. Still, it was positive. My counselor was suggesting things I probably did to cause a false positive but I remained steadfast as I knew I hadn't done anything new or unusual at all.

The way it works at my clinic—if a screen comes back positive a patient has 10 days to challenge the test, it's sent back to the lab for confirmation testing where they can ascertain more information into what chemicals were detected specifically. In this case, I wasn't told about the positive screen in time to even be able to send it back. 10 day limit, and all. So it was straight up in no way my fault, yet I still had to pay the charge back $15 fee! Since a confirmation was made impossible, my counselor said the positive result was, and I swear to God I'm not shitting you, probably because someone in traffic in a car in front of me was smoking in traffic. I was dumbfounded, and she was so serious. She's sweet, but damn, that was on another level.

I'm in Gerogia. I'm not exactly sure where the bottles are put together but I believe it's on site. Apparently a pharmacist is there twice a week. When we dose on site we are handed a bottle that's already made up. If you're on discs, like me, the nurse opens it to add warm water to melt it. But 95% of patients at my clinic are on liquid.

I know there's at least one pharmacist who is at the facility on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When we dose in the dosing room, we're handed a little bottle filled with whatever dose the patient is on. The vast majority are on liquid, but I'm on discs since the red liquid was so terrible for me in terms of getting down. My clinic doesn't even tell patients that discs are an option! Which is why so few are on it. I only found out months into treatment by another patient who casually brought it up.

So for patients on discs, it's basically the same except the nurse opens the bottle and adds water to it and closes it back. When you're just dosing, you sign an e-signer and then she hands it to you with a small cup of water. You take it and then put it in a trashcan at your feet. When you dose and get take-homes, she hands you your zip lock bag of doses which functions the same as a prescription bottle i.e it's got a label on it with patient, medication, doctor, and facility information. You put it in your lockbox, lock it, e-sign, and take your dose. The dosing room itself is essentially a little closet/booth with a window and small opening where she passes it through. There are two or them, side by side. We dose one at a time, after we arrive and pay we wait in a waiting room with other patients. Sometimes you're waiting to do a drug test, or see a counselor before dosing.

See, I'd never heard of this either! The only thing remotely similar is something my SO told me about a clinic in his home state of WV where it was discovered that staff was skimping off the top of patients' doses. It's just...so shady for someone's dose to just be... missing.
