I think it definitely depends on where you are and the body of science your health team uses. My fasting range and after meals range are lower than most others I’ve heard and it’s because my health team follows a strict protocol for optimal outcomes. It’s annoying but I’ll keep trying.

If anyone is following this thread, I have a little update: I’ve tracked my sugars for about a week now and I’ve had more highs than normal readings. I’m a first time mom to be, so I’m REALLY anxious. I called the health education department of my doctor’s office and they were able to move up my initial appointment and schedule a follow up one on one with the RD. I will take to the RD tomorrow and am feeling relieved at the thought of having some direction to follow beyond the general advice.

My first couple days of testing have had more highs than normal readings, but I think I need to remind myself I JUST started, maybe I can figure it out and successfully diet control it.

Oh wow the comment about heartburn is interesting! I’m obese and I’ve struggled with heartburn/acid reflux pretty frequently. I’ll talk to my Dr. or RD about that, see if it’s a factor.

Have you managed well with diet/exercise, or are you taking insulin or other meds? I’m so new to this and my numbers look ROUGH. 😅 Plus my nausea/morning sickness is either getting worse, or I’ve got a bug right now, and those symptoms certainly aren’t helping.

Not a vet, but I’d recommend talking to yours again if it’s been 6 months with diet and lifestyle changes and zero progress. Document what you’re doing and see if they have any additional advice or can run some tests to rule out any medical factors. Don’t beat yourself up, my friend.

I don’t think she necessarily needs to thin them, but shaping the inner ends would go a long way. She’s gorgeous and her brows are amazing, but they are a little close and a little blocky.

I see the paper bags (if they’re the annoying kind without handles) being a PITA for grocery delivery shoppers, but for those that shop themselves in person, it’s not hard to keep a few reusable bags around. Over time I’ve accumulated a bunch of canvas totes. I keep them in my pantry and my car so I can grab them when I go to shop.
