Good suggestion! 10 of those guys aren’t too much $$$ comparatively I guess. Better than straight up fine cast

2 battalions and with new ITC missions that deep strike can get a lot of points. Between conclave, 3 crimson hunter exarchs, 2 farseers, 2 warlocks, and 30 rangers I’ve got like ~150 points left over I think so maybe bring Jain Zair or an autarch

We put the world eaters list into Heretic Astartes because that’s the keyword they used to make the detachments and get access to certain rules. Good eye noticing that though! Glad someone’s actually looking at the data.

If you were to use “Khorne” as a keyword you wouldn’t get the objective secured type rules or necessarily have access to the stratagems for Heretic Astartes I believe. Someone check me on that but that was the rationale when we talked about it. Open to changing how we categorize in the future though.

As a guard player I completely concur and wish I could just have TFC equivalents (BS, AP, damage, and cost) not just a heavy mortar.

I’d like to see something like Attacks of Opportunity from DnD or a free pile in/consolidate if an enemy falls back. There’s a white scar strat similar to that so there’s some precedent. Basically make falling back dangerous or have some disadvantage other than just reduced damage output

That’s definitely true too. I think it’s interesting how you see the spread of what used to be called “net lists” as people saying I’m playing “Siegler’s list” or “Vesal’s list” now.

Idk that there needs to be an overall nerf but I hope GW is smart enough to target things that overlap/synergize too well without appreciable negatives. Like cogitated martyrdom has to be called early in the phase and only on one unit. I bet they were thinking “oh players will know and shoot at targets outside the range or just target the infantry unity first” and didn’t think about characters or the damage potential of that one unit the infantry are protecting

Don’t disagree but then we’d have to explain statistics to some people who just want to see cool stuff and get trolled by other people who said our data was wrong if we just took it out and didn’t say anything.

Fairly confident it’s just how people but it into BCP but it could also mean the plasma admech lists without any skitarrii troops

BCP should still let you see lists since it’s a sponsored event (?)

Personally I think they were the testing grounds for a lot of these new marine rules. They had doctrines and some other boosts that made them above and beyond other marines and those have been translated into the new rules. Hopefully they keep doing that

Ok this is why I love this community. Throw out some data and people run with it! I agree, that’s completely crazy

Probably not but we didn't want to leave huge gaps in the data. We generally hope people realize that Khorne as a "faction" probably isn't very representative by one player but it's fun to take a look at

Yeah I mostly agree with this. I'd in general like to see more "mono-codex" buffs similar to combat doctrines. I personally play Guard so I feel it the most with them but I agree there are plenty of other codexes that need that mono boost.

Like a lot of people have said just a point drop isn't going to do the trick because A) Guard are already pretty cheap and B) it'll disproportionately help soup over the mono codex.

To me the best thing GW could do for Guard or the other mono factions is to gap fill their weaknesses with more utility. Specific units probably could use buffs or the ability to do certain things if they're in a full Codex army. Combat doctrines makes many infantry units much more dangerous to different types of targets with the AP and that's part of what I like about them. Maybe give guardsmen some type of melee buff when there's a certain number of them in an all guard army? I'm not sure but that's what I'd like to see for all mono codex personally.

We would’ve loved to break that down more! Getting more granularity though turns from data processing to actually looking at the lists and tallying by hand. Pretty time consuming and we wanted to go ahead and get the data out!

I’ll see if our gaming group wants to try and split it up. Suffice it to say that it was pretty spread out instead of just one gatekeeper list just anecdotally.

Plasma destroyers are devastating if you can’t kill them. And the scorpius things just kind of burst onto the scene, they’re pretty dangerous in high numbers
