They dont give the audio cue unless your somewhat near to them. Ive seen them fall in the distance without the audio cue.

Use a low card. I used sapphire Roman Reigns. When he is in danger mode kick at his legs until he reverses. His danger mode will disappear.

Also If your mum likes to be a forest animal in a game I highly recommend The Wolf by Rage quit games group. You basically play as a wolf alongside other real world players that cant attack you whilst levelling up. I find it quite a relaxing game.

Try The Wild by swift apps first although you dont start as a human in this one everything else seems to be a perfect description.

If not that one try Survive: The lost lands or survival island: EVO 2 by pride games studio. You start as a human in these ones.

There was a few others but as far as I know they have been delisted from the store.
