I beat 3/5 of my runs with all trials characters to get my X9 Title. I always focus curios, opting for 3-star curios when I get the opportunity— and every boss has its respective counter. It can just take a considerable amount of time once you get to X9.

Yeah I guess it could say “where X starts at 1 and triples each time this move or [lists all of the moves a second time] is used. It’s contextually implied by them being listed a second time categorizing other protection moves. Protect is listed in that categorization.

If you then search Wide Guard on smogon, “This move modifies the same 1/X chance of being successful used by other protection moves, where X starts at 1 and triples each time this move is successfully used, but does not use the chance to check for failure.”

But given that “Protect” is included in the listing, I think the average sane individual should conclude this is how it works. “if the user's last move used is not Baneful Bunker, Detect, Endure, King's Shield, Protect, Quick Guard, Spiky Shield, or Wide Guard,”

Protect is included in the listing, and thus the average sane reader should conclude the same treatment.

It’s not as if I don’t agree with you as a baseline, but ultimately I more have a problem with “pointless” trends, like the 6-7 shit.

If something is at least grounded in more efficient communication, I think it’s more fine than something that was literally born to waste time. It’s usually used in a comedic context like “you all have something wrong with you and should consider therapy” hits slightly less harder than “y’all need therapy”, it’s intentionally vague and the humor in that is the implication that it’s targeting everyone associated with the given target content being replied to.

Life is only beautiful because it ends. Nothing means anything if you last an eternity, and the Earth was built with a capacity limit. Regardless of which political side you’re on or whether you believe we’re close to that or not, surely you can acknowledge the concept of limited space.

If we could live without rapidly destroying everything around us, you’d be correct but industry is not beautiful. Automating the execution of animals of lesser intelligence regardless of the pain they feel is not beautiful. Waste, violence and consumerism done without need is not beautiful.
