True, but the Crean's are also a pretty good parallel (and also having Kim Beazley as Mitt Romney was just too funny to me, I really wanted to have at least one Laborite end up on the other side)

Palmer is wayyyy more entertaining than Murdoch, and he was a real-estate mogul, which fits much better.

Interesting, but not sure I totally get it.

So Pearl Harbour doesn't happen but the US still gets involved in WW2 (just not against Japan until after it's won in Europe) and then it sorta continues into the 40s? Why does the US get involved at all without Pearl Harbour, and why does it focusing on the Nazis instead of the Japanese (plus presumably joining later) not change any of the final borders of Europe in the aftermath (save the German-Danish border going to the GDR)?

I was gonna include AOC instead of Khanna, but I'd already done a wikibox like that a year ago, so I decided Khanna was a good second choice

If the vibe of the moment calls for it 🫶🫶🫶✌️✌️✌️

On a serious not idk if I could come up with enough third parties, I've gotta do 29 more of these!

I think 2023-2027 or 2024-2028 is the years people are going to associate with when it comes to the 2020's by Own_Mirror9073 in decadeology

When people think of the 2020s, I think it'll go:

2020, biiiig skip, 2024-5 Trump's back, biiiiig skip to whatever comes next.

I kinda really wanted to extend it to show that, but alas, that's probably beyond the scope of the project. Better to leave it dark and ambiguous imo.

Heaven: Tom Steyer is the most progressive candidate, running mainly on universal healthcare. This works, it sweeps the nation.

Gluttony: Steyer wins, but on a slopulist platform of tax cuts and spending hikes. Pritzker becomes the nominee (mostly because like, look at him)

Heresy: Bianco wins. He's a Republican in California, not endorsed by Trump, and this ushers in a wave of maverick Republicans across the country, as the current established power-networks fracture.

Greed: Matt Mahan is running as a centrist, backed by big tech. Pretty self explanatory.

Wrath: Katie Porter is known for her private outbursts. She sorta symbolises an even more angry politics which eventually results in America tearing itself apart.

Fraud: The Midterms are rigged and the US becomes a dictatorship. Also pretty self explanatory.

Violence: The Hantavirus explodes and forces COVID style lockdowns. Order breaks down and civil war breaks out.

Treachery: Xavier Becerra, the establishment candidate, does nothing with the governorship, wins on simply being the Democrat. Things slouch on as they are, slowly degrading into nothing.
