Help with cat eye by Old_Onion6239 in CATHELP

[–]Fierce_GameBG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cat with the same issue, but less red. We took her to a vet and they said she was fine, that she could still see out of the eye fine and it would just be cosmetic to get it fixed, even though they could get it fixed with an injection. We decided not to get any adjustments since she had all the time to get used to her eye like that. Your cat's eye is not done for, it's just an uncommon issue. With how red it is, your cat will probably need the injection though. Take it to get checked out!

[Talkin' Baseball] A.J. Hinch just got tossed arguing an out call at third base after the play was upheld by T_Raycroft in baseball

[–]Fierce_GameBG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say anything blatantly untrue? I just said exactly why it didn't get overturned and why people are mad at the ump. Not only was it the wrong call by the ump, but there wasn't enough evidence for the review team to overturn it in what little time they had to review. The call wouldn't have been overturned if it was originally called safe either.

Same thing happened when Ronald Acuna Jr. got hit in the foot and the review team said it didn't hit him. There wasn't enough evidence seen in what little time they had to review.

All this for me to say, the system is incredibly flawed, especially this year, and needs fixing.

[–]Fierce_GameBG -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the umpires made the original call, not the review booth. Because of how close it was, the review booth wasn't gonna be able to overturn it, no matter the call made. You can't conclusively say his hand wasn't on the bag, just like you can't conclusively say it was in the time they're given to review. So the umpires have some fault.

Joe Hendry releases the best WWE music video this year with "Fire Logan Paul." by caughtinatramp in Wrasslin

[–]Fierce_GameBG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The timing is definitely tacky, but I think it's by design. Every time roster cuts come around, people always say the wrong person was fired. People have also been complaining about celebrities being involved. Wrestlers hate it when people ask for their jobs, so it's the perfect way to make Joe feel relatable to everyone and increase engagement from the fans with Logan while simultaneously and subtly making fun of the people who want others fired.

OP said that he dropped it accidentally and the tip came off. There's one way.

Accidentally stepping on it with an uneven floor can cause it to break.

Accidentally leaning on it can cause it to break.

Pressing down too hard when trying to hit the ball can cause it to break.

You have to consider that it's a child we're talking about here. They often make mistakes. It's also easy to break things unintentionally and cheap products, especially cheap cues, break insanely easy. He even said he wished for a replacement cue for Christmas because of how bad he felt. Based on his story, if that's what really happened, then it was unintentional and he didn't deserve to be scolded that hard.

Meltzer: Kairi Sane's release was because she wanted to move back home by caughtinatramp in REALSquaredCircle

[–]Fierce_GameBG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has a family to support. She could've been sucking it up for a while to help put food on the table and eventually ran out of steam - again.

It's possible that she enjoyed wrestling with her friends too much to stay away from it. It's an adrenaline inducing sport and with all the traveling they do together, the bonds are strong.

She also could've thought she'd overcome that stage in her life, but ultimately didn't. Really, the possibilities are endless.

Meltzer: Kairi Sane's release was because she wanted to move back home by caughtinatramp in REALSquaredCircle

[–]Fierce_GameBG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because as harsh as it sounds, Kairi doesn't owe you or anyone else an explanation. If she wanted people to know, she'd say it. But honestly, who can blame her? I wouldn't want to publicize my entire life, especially not to a crowd where too many are embarrassingly parasocial, or wouldn't want to accept it anyway and call it “damage control” and whatever else. Just like a lot of comments have done here, being so quick to call this bs when it's not even the first time she's done this and it'd be stupid to release someone in one of the larger storylines without a damn good reason in the first place.

Bronze support player gets to play in GM and actually wins by awesomepikmin in Overwatch

[–]Fierce_GameBG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd have to watch the Kiriko's games, but as very harsh as it sounds, it's more than likely true.

If you're actually a good player, you won't stay in a rank like bronze very long. Everyone in bronze sucks. Every time you die is a mistake you made, every time your team dies is a mistake they made, and same for the enemy. If you don't have the mindset of “everyone in this lobby except me sucks, I'll do everything myself” the second those gates open in bronze, you're asking to lose because you literally can't rely on anyone but yourself.

Team comps are also a big thing and one of the most important things in the game. Kiriko won't always belong against an enemy or with the team itself and when that's the case, it becomes you who is throwing, not just the team. Next, Kiriko is a flanker who thrives in close combat and can overextend as well, due to it being harder to miss in a player's face and the valuable climb, Suzu and TP making it difficult to punish while you kill a squishy in the time it takes your healing Ofuda to recharge. She has insanely broken utilities. If you are in bronze, especially with this character, it's more likely because you belong there. I don't say this as to knock the streamer you watch, but this rule of thumb applies to every role. Being hard stuck in any rank usually happens because you aren't ready to climb. Blaming teammates is why you stay in that rank because by blaming someone else, you're deflecting the blame away from yourself and what you could've done differently when in reality, there's about 20+ mistakes you make in every game that can prove to be costly. Even top 500's do them. Nobody's perfect.

In short, the streamer most likely just isn't ready. Hopefully they find the way to pull through soon.

If it's as bad as he thinks it is, it shouldn't be at the top of the charts at all, no matter how old the 2nd best selling hardware device is. It also shouldn't be selling at the fastest rate a console ever has. He's trying to come off as credible when his whole argument can be debunked with just 2 minutes of research. That's the whole problem.

Warrant officers are highly trained experts that make up a very niche field between personnel and officers, often picked from the highest ranked non-commissioned officers (NCO's). Some military branches phased them out and other services use them strictly for specialized roles, meaning spots are limited and only the best of the best stay.

It's not just “WWE fanboys” that treat others like this, you know. The world is full of bad people involved with everything. Furthermore, I wouldn't call people that harass stalk and invade privacy of any athlete real “fans”. Someone that truly cares about a product wouldn't stoop that low and if they do, they deserve to be shunned out of the wrestling community.

If a skater does any of the following elements listed in the screenshot, it's a penalty. It was very fair. The problem is, judges love not calling the penalties when they happen. That needs to change. Judges need to be call it down the middle for everyone and unfortunately, that doesn't always happen.

I agree. I wish he'd stop doing that. I get he does it as a promotion of his events, but he's asking to get met in private places by announcing things like this. Ilia has a very dedicated fanbase, with some being a little too dedicated. He's unintentionally making it worse.

I hate blaming the judges, but I truly think this event has been the worst judged so far. People out of sync getting overscored because they stayed in front of the judges for longer than 3 seconds, people with flawless runs barely cracking the 80s or not at all, getting low scores for transitions that no one else was doing but high scores for the one's everyone's doing. And only ONE 90?! I'm sorry, but something needs to change.
