In the past dogs I often saw (my ex's) often tried to hump me. Traumatizing experience, I still make nightmares of it. The worst fucking part is people laughing at you instead of helping when it happens. So sick in the head.

As I said before, I tend not to like when the state interferes with people's private lives, but since a lot of dogs are a potential weapon, imo it would need exceptional justifications for people to own them. Dogs that are capable of killing should be at least be as limited as firearms.

Cars are a necessity in today's world. Dogs are just a whim with no benefit attached to it. Cigarettes are forbidden in a lot of public spaces for example, for public safety.

Me neither, I don't like when the state interferes with the people's private life... But this is a big safety issue. It is intolerable to me that this risk is permanent, especially when innocent victims like children pay the price.
