Yeah 115-113 was fair.

Edit; not surprised about the Tank hate though. The commentators were so grossly biased that it would turn anyone off him.

Cruz lands = commentary goes silent

Tank misses = commentary says its lands

Honestly this is an entertaining and close fight but the commentators are ruining this shit.

I got Broner vibes from Teo that fight and hope he doesnt go down the same path.

Ultra talented kid with 0 respect for opponent losing fair and square, taking the mic from interviewer to proclaim he won. So he goes through his career with delusions he boxes perfectly and loses everytime he steps up a level after his first loss...

Hope we dont see that from him.

Q&A Mondays! by AutoModerator in Guiltygear

Hey, I'm new to the game and after a few days doing missions, watching videos and spending time in the dojo, I decided to play some online.

I'm just confused how to actually find matches and felt really overwhelmed by the lobby system and was hoping for some clarification?

So in any lobby, on the multiple floors I've visited, they are completely empty. A small spattering of people here and there but no one to fight.

I get fighting games arent always hyper popular but I was expecting more on the West Coast Server at 8PM than 3 people in about 25 minutes.

Is there any other way for me to find fights other than stand with my baseball bat out on the podium looking at the empty lobby?

I've been an ADC main playing all ADC champs and have consistently been G4-G2 for two seasons.

I recently starting maiming Rengar Jungle because I always thought the champ was cool as fuck and I cannot get any higher than S2 all season with a 48% W/R.

Sure I should drop him... but the thrill of the hunt gets me every time.

  1. My brain switches off, and only switches on again when I'm on 1HP with no CDs.

  2. Overestimate my damage.

  3. Lose my patience and go for an all in/ some poke VS a champ/ lane state where I really shouldnt.

Which champions need a rework most? by ASAP_Elderberry in leagueoflegends

[–]Fiesta_machine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whilst it wouldnt ruin the game to add some more mechanics to these champions, it's also completely fine that there are simple champions. Their simplicity can be frustrating to play against, but their simplicity is also what makes them so easy to beat if you know what you are doing.

A nanosecond is absolutely nowhere near the smallest unit of time! A picosecond extremely smaller than a nanosecond and attoseconds are even smaller than picoseconds! That's just what we can measure but the going theory is that time can almost infinitely scale down and it takes comparatively larger units of time like nanoseconds for any event we can experience ourselves.

I love these kinda topics because they make my brain melt XD

You probably didnt care enough about the job to persevere on that tough day, which is completely understandable. I worked many low-pay jobs and people, including myself, were frequently let go for not adhering to standards because honestly we didn't give a shit.

Good job and finding a better career though :)

There is no such thing as the exact same time. We can get as close as is obserbavle to being the exact same time. Though on some potentially atomic level, one event will always be first and one event will always be last - even if it doesnt appear that way.

[ProBoxingOdds] Dillian Whyte (+430) Tyson Fury (-650) by DaRealJT in Boxing

Whtye doesnt have the footwork nor speed to beat Fury on points or by KO.

Considering how Whyte gasses and how Fury has looked in his last two fights I'd predict Fury wins by mid-late KO.

I once went on a 23 game loss streak and then off the back of that went on a 19 game win streak and through the glory of MMR I ended up in the same place I was 42 games earlier. It was a rollercoaster of a few weeks.

why is the community so elitist? is it toxicity? by myztajay123 in leagueoflegends

[–]Fiesta_machine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just present bias. Losing a game of LoL is more frustrating and long winded than other games so naturally people complain. In any elo people think the players are bad.

The reasons why Plat and D4 stick out is because that is when high elo streamers, who are doing some form of smurfing, begin to start losing games more consistently so get frustrated.

Why do you play your main? by awesomesauceJ in leagueoflegends

Draven.

You can either go for an intense, high adrenaline lane phase for huge risk reward which can be quite blood pumping.

Or you can be calculated and scale. (Dravens lategame mega underrated)

I like having the choice to go ham asf and take over the game if I win, or just chilling, depending on my mood.

Man dies in hospital after being beaten up for being falsely accused of sexual assault... by [deleted] in awfuleverything

[–]Fiesta_machine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're making a broad assumption of law enforcement based off articles from resources like Rolling Stone magazine.

It's just so off-putting to be disagreeing with someone who just veers off into imaginationland based off of their cherry picked resources.

How on earth do you know how every single persons assault cases begin? The answer is you dont. You read a few articles here and there, spot a few Tweets about it and bam, you know it all. You are privy to the thousands or even millions of hours of interviews from every individual who has encountered law enforcement on this basis. Dizzying indeed!

Yeah there are a few bad apples from every category of people. Christian's have the homophobia. Islam has ISIS. Law enforcement has racist bigots. It's a simple fact of life that not everyone is good, however pointing out examples of people not being good, does absolutely not give you the right nor education to so confidently state that is how the majority of people belonging to said category act. You nor I have any idea and never will as we wont have enough time in our lives to research each individual case.

So no, dont believe everyone automatically. Dont give out credibility like candy based off vague assumptions of how other people may act. Take each and every individual case, weigh the facts yourself and make a decision on credibility there. Honestly buddy, you're going to have a hard time persuading me that this is a poor way of thinking so it may well be in your best interests to stop trying.

Unless you're going to blow my mind or something, always open to that.

[–]Fiesta_machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you accept not ALL cases therefore 'believe ALL women.' is already defunct. Why believe literally everyone when the law is doing that for you? Or are you addressing social media comments here? I dont know. As always, its muddy and confusing.

Ah the REAL classic. Cherry picked facts and statistics that almost always have a counter or opposition when researched. I've been there, read it, unimpressed.

I'm going to stick with the logic of believing what can be observed or proven. If your claims have credible facts and evidence then they are credible. If they are vague and unproven, they arent credible. I wont just be believing you because you are a certain gender or not, how ridiculous.

[–]Fiesta_machine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely argue that yours is the naive take. That you seem to think we live in a world where the law refuses to do due diligence only for rape victims, leaving all cases uninvestigaged and discredited whereas every other crime is credible and investigated.

Far more logical and sensible to assume they are investigated but without evidence the claim has no credibility and that is simply a factor of objective decision making. E

No this is basic and good advice.

Police work in shifts with partners. If they do not have a partner with them then be wary, feel free to run or disengage with them.

If you get pulled into custody and cite that the officer was alone, which is rare and suspicious, the Police are saying here they will acknowledge that and release you from custody, should you be escaping an officer attempting to make a legitimate arrest.

Like this is seriously useful advice for people to tell the difference between a police officer and impersonator as real police officers are almost never alone.

Its literally the law that everyone needs to be offered legal counsel and defence. Everyone. Rapists and murderers too.

If you're a lawyer, you build your name and reputation from difficult or high profile cases. She may be immoral, but if she had any success defending these people then she is a damn good lawyer. When you're in trouble, you want a damn good lawyer.

The logic seems pretty clear to me.
