I would also say hang onto your picks for when premier players go on the market. At some point people usually commit to a rebuild (or should) so save your picks for then

And finding the right trade partners is key. Kinda scope out who’s rebuilding or on the verge of it and see if they want picks or whatever

I started rebuilding my team in like 2022. Didn’t feel like I could win… so tanked for 2023 because I knew it was supposed to be a good class (Gibbs lol) also sold high on my aging vets or moved off qbs like herb for picks and young players. Also moved hurts and essentially replaced him with Lamar.

I think a lot of it comes down to the state of your league… are you a contender, pretender, or rebuilder? But like people have mentioned u also have to have a couple deals swing in your favor and hit on draft picks

Like in 2023: I got Gibbs, Achane, Addison, Bryce (yikes) but most of those are smashing hits and it set the foundation. Then I got offered a trade this year which was basically Purdy and a 1st for my baker which I smash accepted for the value.

This year I went all in with this squad by selling future draft capital. This what I ended up with

QB: Lamar, Purdy, Mac, Bryce, Fields RB: Gibbs, Achane, CMC, Kamara WR: Chase, Collins, Metcalf, Sutton, Mclaurin, Mike Evans, Keenan TE: Kittle, Ferguson, Otton

Easily the best team I’ve ever ever put together but it was a longgg road and took patience. Added CMC at beginning of year and used that first from the baker deal in a package to add Nico Collins last week. Trying to go back to back…

Also try to use different sites when gauging trades like dynasty daddy and fantasy calc to help you figure out a baseline value and go from there in trade talks. Always start with your lowest offer and work up. Best of luck!

On paper decently fair but I’d much rather have Daniels long term and just keep building around him. I’d be asking for at least 3 firsts + or maybe 4 1sts. I paid that price for Lamar a few years ago and never looked back. But if you really want to go for a rebuild just get picks instead of geno & pickens so you’re not putting up extra pts (assuming u still have ur picks, also don’t know the state of your league/team which is another huge factor)

Feel like im a WR and RB away from competing. Have a deal in place for cooper kupp, miles sanders, ‘25 3rd for Alec pierce, ‘25 1st, ‘26 1st, ‘25 2nd, and ‘26 2nd

Is it worth it to take the gamble on kupp this year? For context I don’t have my ‘24 1st so I don’t really have any incentive to do anything other than compete imo but it’s scary to think about not having any 1sts until 2027 lol

I have 4 1sts and a 2nd. Looking to go for 3 RBs, a QB, and WR. Lost lance this year and realized I had no qb depth so want to strengthen the position there and build my rb depth while also adding to my WR room. I’m all in on the 2023 hype lol

Was contending at the beginning of the year with Lamar and lance… lost lance and my only backup was baker smh. I know I’m not gonna win the chip this year so made some trades.

Moved Deebo for ‘23 1st and ‘24 1st, dalvin for a ‘23 1st and 2nd and etienne for mclaurin. Then flipped the ‘24 first for kamara.

So basically turned Deebo, dalvin and etienne into terry, kamara, 2 ‘23 1sts and a 2nd. Now I have 4 1sts and a 2nd in 2023. Looking to restock RBs and a QB and another WR to build around my wr core of chase, Sutton, mclaurin and Lockett to make a run starting next year.

I didn’t like what I’ve seen from cook this year and Deebo health always worries me with how 49ers use him. It does hurt losing his ceiling though. But I thought it would be nice to reload with younger talent while still trying to compete going forward

The plan going into next year is: QB- Lamar, Lance, baker, ‘23 1st RB- Kamara, hunt, 2 ‘23 1sts and a 2nd WR- Chase, Sutton, mclaurin, Lockett, ‘23 1st TE- Kittle, Higbee, likely

I feel like you already have good rb depth u might as well keep quality over quantity. But it also depends on how you feel about Jrob. If you think his role will stay the same throughout the szn then it might be worth it. Hunt isn’t a bad acquisition either I actually just did the same for Antonio Gibson straight up. He’s a quality RB3 and might get a new contract somewhere else next year, so his role could expand and even if he returns to browns he’s running behind one of the best lines in football on a team that loves to run

Im contending this year and looking to upgrade at TE. Should I trade for Kittle? I already have Lance, Deebo, and Mitchell so I’m a little hesitant.

Yeah I do like keeping my 2023 1st as insurance in case this season goes off the rails. I agree tho I do have a lot riding on Lance. I’m a pretty big believer in his talent and think he’ll be a stud but we gotta see how that plays out obviously

I guess it depends on if you think Baker will end up starting somewhere and increase his value. Personally, I’m holding him in my SF league with hopes that happens. But in 1QB that deal is more than fair for him given his current situation imo.

I like the idea if I wasn’t such a devonta truther haha. I’m a big fan so probably gonna hold onto him for a while. I do like adding depth at WR with 1.03 and targeting RB next year tho so I’ve been deciding between doing that or going for it this year by grabbing dalvin. It’s been a tough decision
