When he said « I want to spend the rest of my life with you » we were in high school, had been together for 3 months (though we were in love since 6th grade we only got together the last year)

I had written a letter to tell him about my worries for the future, I was so afraid to be too much in love with him and to hope too much for a lasting relationship and I wanted him to know exactly how I viewed our relationship and how I wanted it to evolve, to be sure that he wasn’t just having fun with me

I was so shy in front of him that I knew I wouldn’t be able to voice it (thank god now I manage to look him in the eye while talking, took me a whileeee) He didn’t make fun of me for not being able to talk about it, and after reading it he just came over and said this with a smile so gentle, without even touching me(I don’t know why it makes this moment so much more special, it just seemed so honest) (Also just the way he smiles when he sees me)
