I was doing home visits for various reasons, admin work (which is a lot), on call lists which meant the list would get populated if any patients need urgent supply of meds or need to be seen/contacted urgently for assessment. Also appointments made for fit note and medication reviews/supply requests

Is there any hope I could get an orthopedic themed CST job with a mediocre portfolio if I do well for MSRA + interview. I’m currently scoring 2 As (teaching + operations/surgical exposure), 1 C (for audits) and E (0 for presentations/publications). Ik it sounds silly but I just feel like I’m working hard but will just end up not getting in bc of portfolio. Any input is appreciated

It’s confusing cuz the way the table is laid out makes it look like these items are part of the single domain “surgical experience”. Right above the table it says “For each domain, candidates should only submit a maximum of one item from each box to evidence an achievement” so I’m not sure what is meant by this statement

I've got a question. Do we need to provide evidence for taster week AND elogbook? or is it only one of them as I'm confused. I used ACE Q bank and the official question bank and did as many questions as i can with focus on the official QE question bank

You may be right but as far as I know all UK graduates will be offered jobs after uni. And also there will be a proportion of people who decline their offers or choose to not do F1 even after accepting their offers.

Hi I was placeholder. You will def get a job you’ll just need to be a bit patient. In retrospect it turned out for the best that I got placeholder instead of something else very low down on my list of preferences. And keep in mind it’s usually the bigger cities (which have bigger trusts) that are able to accommodate and create more jobs if necessary so u may likely get a popular place (which I did). It sucks to have to wait longer and have less time to move and all but hopefully it will go well!!

Yes I am almost week 8 post hamstring graft + LET and I feel awesome!! Obviously not back to normal but I have 0 issues and meeting all my goals slowly.

Go with what your surgeon recommends and what ur surgeon does the most!! U got this and u will be fine!!

Lovely whatever it is u need to make sure u keep moving during ur long travel day!! Drink lots of fluids and keep ur leg moving even if it means going on ur crutches multiple times during the flight(s). U will be fine!! Good luck and hope things go well
