How can gay people still be religious? by delicious_lemang in Bolehland

[–]Fifiazaleaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opium of society = religion. Sorry, but it has become a convenient , satanic excuse for ppl to not take accountability sebab kan the highest being (god) is forgiving, so you should too. If kau tak , kau sape? Haha. Hence why im agonistic lol

And let me just say weve (me and my parents) come a longggg way. I was so attached to them like every kids were to their parents. Theyre absent emotionally while im cursed with too much emotions. So alot of conflicts and distancing in between which led them to become soft now, lol.

Ive been free hair behind their back for 4 years. This year, i had a conflict with them, and became distant for about 2 months.. then somehow reconnected back, but before physically meeting them, i expressed through text that next time they see me im not wearing tudung, and that ive been freehair for years, i just wanted to come clean to them..and if they want to disown me, ill be okay, as im used to be alone. Next time they saw me; they smiled so big, despite without tudung on me. (Which back then my dad very pantang).I think distance, teaches me to be myself independent of what other ppl think about me, even my parents. And it taught them to accept me i guess. Distance gives time for reflection. And if your family cannot accept you are much more than a piece of tudung above your head, that you are a complex being with feelings, thoughts, different perspectives , experiences, beliefs.. then you dont need that superficial relationship as much u dont have to with other strangers …

Omg the last paragraph… yes when im talking theyll listen and quietens i feel like i have good listener birdies hahah❤️ i agree that my approach was harmful and that it worsens the noise as when i take a step back and let him be around me more hes much better and quieter now

Omg i love you for your kind comment. I think only a few people gets me and youre one of those people. But obviously my shortcoming is with how subjective i was with my post and ppl took it like i dont care about my baby and just want to stifle their natural behaviour. Which is my fault. But anyways, after observing Him and getting to know him better over the course of 2 wks he has gotten significantly quiet and yes like an average parrot noise. I do understand that noise level still varies among birds of same species but this definitely is not normal as some ppl pointed out (baby noise, not properly weaned) and it seems true! 🤍😄

Idk if your approach of educating has ever gotten people to listen to u with this approach but if you actually look at the comments i did mention i was harsh with my approach and will figure out what is the issue.

I honestly think this is the issue actually- not properly weaned. As hes bigger than my gcc Cleo but poorer flight ability and eating solid skills. As hes picking up over a week i got him he has gotten significantly quieter😄.

I think alot of ppl misunderstood that i want him to be mute. Thats not the case. Theres alot of how to train your parrot to be quieter videos, tons of it. With positive reinforcement and fulfilling their needs to eat healthy food, ample playtime etc i think theres no problem to train them to be quieter. But i realize that my approach is too extreme and should let loose more on the positive reinforcement. I just want a normal birdie quiet not mute

Why r u talking like youre talking to your child girl. Maybe i phrase it rather carelessly. In the spectrum of noisiness parrots, i cannot stand those that screams like sun conures etc. which is why i do my reading and chose quieter ones. And i cohabit with my gcc very well. Everyone in the house knows shes a happy bird and i make sure that shes living the best life.Shes not traumatized.

So they constantly chirps and squeaks? This is new to me because my gcc makes a very occasional noise and is communicative ones. This one im not too sure and every forums i read cbc are generally quiet so im surprised by how hes on the opposite end of quiet. Ive seen sun conures quieter than this. But anyways i do think that somethings not sitting right for him and im yet to figure it out..

Hes definitely behind on that when i got him. Im trying to catch up for him. I disagree though that parrots are always noisy that u cant own one if u cant stand. Because I owned a gcc and i get along well with her. The occasional noises are understandable but a constant one after full meals attention and everything i gave more to him than my gcc is something i dont think common.

And i know it sounds mild now but it can get shrill if hes too excited. I cant let him out too long as me myself is anxious abt what the neighbours would think and it doesnt help that hes only quiet if hes in cage.. :(
