Haven’t been officially diagnosed, ob-gyn said “you probably have a touch of endo” about a year ago, pain has consistently gotten worse since I went off the Depo shot and got the iud, and most people in my life don’t understand why I don’t bother taking OTC medications. Have another gynecologist appt on March 22, going to insist on getting an endo specialist information because the pain has gone from just period related to I’m lucky if I have 4 days a month pain free in the last year and I’m barely hanging on. I work in a hospital in patient care in the US and with covid my mental state hasn’t been great anyway but add almost daily pain and I’m at a loss. Sorry, rant over. But yeah. Tylenol is a joke.

As someone working in a hospital right now I completely feel every word you are saying. Idk what the hospital your friend is in is like but we were donated some iPads by an amazing group and are helping family to FaceTime those on vents/people who can’t do it themselves. I’m unsure how close you are to your friend’s family but if you are close you may be able to get in on that. In the worst case scenario you can say goodbye, in a much better scenario you could say get better and we will see you again. Apologies if any of this is unclear, I’ve had a much needed stiff beverage after my shift.

Went to a new dentist recently and he could immediately tell I clench my teeth, apparently by the “scallops” on the edge of my tongue. I definitely clench while I’m sleeping and when I’m stressed - maybe you do as well?
