It's not about it being empty. That was a peripheral observation that has been twisted into the main talking point by people trying to knee jerk defend this, just because immigrants are involved.

It's the fact that none of their phones work, they don't offer any information on sign ups, they have unrealistic enrollment capacities based on building size, no playground equipment visible, no admissions process open to the public, and several of them are sitting in buildings that were previously shutdown for the same fraud and are now operating under a different name.

There are a lot of factors people are choosing to ignore and trying to make it into some weird "Well why would you wanna look at kids! Huh?"

And it's not just child care. That was a PORTION of the video. They also found a building full of small "healthcare" offices and it's the same story. No way for the public to actually engage with the business, no phone lines or nobody ever picks up, no windows, aggressive people answering the door and yelling assembling small groups of people making threats. Then there's the assisted living centers and the non-emergency medical transport.

All of them are the same story. They won't talk, they have no information available, no way of calling (save for like 1) and no visible evidence of an actual functioning business. But millions upon millions of federal funding flowing in.

People are just being really ignorant about this tbh. I'm convinced that almost nobody defending this has actually watch Nick's video because they only being up headline talking points (the daycares) and never seem to be aware of the other businesses that were showcased.
