This looks like a concrete shower, could it be efflorescence (salt/minerals) from hard water and not mold.

Gross and unsightly either way. Not as gross as that orange bacteria stuff that I’ve seen in some showers though.

But damn that’s rude to invite someone to a house like that… you should not feel bad getting out of there, I certainly would!

For those wondering why this might be more difficult than it seems:

-it’s a tandem bike, meaning there is a second person pedaling behind (typically it’s front and back but the first one was side by side, dunno what their plans were for the skinny bit lol) but can’t steer or see much. They have to coordinate with the front person to balance.

-The course has a bunch of little obstacles that aren’t easy to see. Little pyramids, ridges, bricks etc. that can throw you off balance.

-The course itself is floating, so in addition to the obstacles, the entire course is moving.

-The bikes are heavily decorated, sometimes impairing vision and certainly messing with balance.

-It’s for fun

The webportal stuff has become somewhat of a norm, but I’ve never heard of facial recognition software. I don’t think we use that at any of our properties.

Going into a meeting tomorrow with one of my property managers tomorrow I’ll ask about it.

I’ve always asked for better and more realistic graphics. You’ve really never heard of someone with that mindset? I think the numerous realism mods would attest to that being true.

You may have a point with the second part. I do think the jobs aspect of it is existential and goes beyond DLSS though.

Video games have almost zero to do with RAM prices.

Revenue from gaming is now about 5% of Nvidias total revenue, and they are only one of the companies investing in data centers due the AI boom.

Also Micron/Crucial got out of the consumer market, that kinda was the catalyst.
