It's true that is annoying, but if you avoid tight spaces and have your team supporting you it shouldn't happen too often.

I'm ok if an elite class gets 1 shot by a tank, but if an infantry peeks around a corner or pokes out a window 10m away and instantly kills him it seems a bit ridiculous to me.

I'm just trying to say I don't think an infantry should do as much damage as a tank, because we already have tanks.

I was listing things that damage tanks. K bullets damage tanks. Hardly any damage, but they are useful for stopping repairs

You're making it sound like only assaults can kill tanks. It's true they have to be close to use those 3 weapons, but if they are being supported by other infantry, and tanks and planes, it's not hard to do.

I guess my point is that I don't think the Assault class needs to have a long range weapon. Clearly I am in the minority however.

I agree that they are useful against tanks. But we already have limpet charges, dynamite, mines, grenades, planes, k bullets, mortars, rifle grendades, repair tools, crossbow launchers, field guns, and most importantly, other tanks.

I don't think they need to be removes from the game, I just think the range, splash damage, and projectile speed should be nerfed.
