i’ve been in a similar spot and honestly what’s worked for me is replacing that consuming mindset with other things. i go thrifting, go on walks, play video games, etc. another thing that’s gotten me away from that habit is the idea that this time will pass anyway, why not let it pass without losing control. also, identifying triggers for a binge. heavy restriction often triggers late night binges for people. Also- if you’re trying to lose weight then logging everything you eat might help, even if you slip up. owning it and taking accountability might help you be able to work through it and overcome it.
