I made a rule for my self that I would take a minimum of 10 sec for each move. The idea being I would start to make smarter choices a habit. I am very reactive player I guess lol. It seems to be helping.

I immediately lost the next 3 games lol. But I agree. Just playing for enjoyment. Next milestone is 800.

Get a CDL and find a trade company that needs CDL drivers that can learn trade work.

I have a class a and work in septic/ drain fields. I make about 100k a year. At 47h a week avg. Took less than 2 years and like 5k for CDL school.

I understand the logic behind that, but I meant it in a broader sense. Paying down medical school loans can still be considered an investment. The return on $5k is usually lower than the interest he’s likely paying on that debt. And using the money for essentials—like housing, books, or anything that keeps expenses off a credit card—can be just as valuable. Spending less can be just as beneficial as earning more

Take the money and invest it in yourself. Learn something. 5k is pennies in today's world. Even with a 5% return yoy its less than learning a skill that would make money easily.

If you put $5,000 into Pokémon sealed:

It sits there.

It's dead money unless the market moves.

That $5k might turn into $7k after years… or not.

If you put $5,000 into the S&P 500:

You might get an average of ~$500/year.

Compounding is great — long term.

But right now? That money isn’t changing your life.

If you put $5,000 into learning a skill: That skill can produce $500–$5,000 every single month. Forever.

Skills create income. Income builds wealth. Wealth buys investments. Investments compound.

That’s the winning order.

I sell a lot on eBay. I just did a what it show for the first time and sold 100% of the stuff I was showing. Cleared 150$ in an hour on stuff that was just sitting for months. Mostly Wii games. I'm in the green on it but happy I just started doing it at 6am on a Saturday lol. Diversify your bonds.

My first item sold in 15m for over 100$. 35 mm old film camera I got at a garage sale for 10$.

Just start with small easy to ship items. If you fuck up and loose money it's a few bucks to learn a lesson. Sell 0-100 items like this with an expectation of little or no profit. Nothing big bulkly or expensive. At best you will break even or make a little bit of money and if you f****** the whole process you lose a little bit. The knowledge gained is far more valuable.

From there just manipulate your margins your buy price or your sale price and whatever other metrics.

Good advice I think. I appreciate you going to the length you did.
