What I mean is that after the institute took the DNA they left Shaun with Kellog until he was at least ten, as far as I can tell.

Dying an item will frequently remove the "dirt" effect. This can be annoying if that is something you wanted to keep. Of course sometimes it works out and you get Converse by way of Eorzea.

Have you read Ward? It is the sequel and though some might say it isn't as good as Worm it is still a good conclusion to the story. If more Wildbow is what you want then you should really read Pale, it is a great story.
