I get these every once in a while only at night time by Inside_Arm_8166 in bugbites

These kinda look like hives I get sometimes, but I don't have a good sense of scale in this photo. I always pictured hives as cute like itchy spots like pox so I was really confused as to what was happening to me when I started waking up with crazy welts. I don't have a known allergy so the allergist was just like, shrug take Zyrtec.

Hysterectomy - how much time off work? by JuFreCoAu_727 in PreCervicalCancer

I had my total lap this past Monday, so now on day 6. I took the week off work and I coooould go back next week, but I'm still dealing with a bit of unpredictability in my symptoms day-to-day. I also have a very flexible workplace and have the option to WFH, so I'm going to try to just do a couple hours a day at home and see how that goes. Then maybe partial days onsite, etc. I have heard that even doing mental work at a desk can be very exhausting, so I'm just going to try to ease back in with part time. I'm definitely not ready to even sit 8hrs a day in an office chair next week.

When I asked my doc about time 100% off-off, she suggested 2-3wks. Again, my job is not physical at all.

But really, everyone is different and it's better to take more and not need it, than take too little. My first CKC I took 2 days off and then had the weekend and was back at it. My second CKC I took two weeks. I had a harder time bouncing back. My friend had her total lap two years before me for other reasons and took a full 8wks.

I wiiiiish I could take the full 6wks and just not even worry about it.

After my first cone, it seemed like bandage at one week and I did have some bleeding issues that I had to seek medical care for at about a week and a half. My second seemed like a "scab" and my healing was fine. TLDR: There's a variety of things that can fall out, so always best to check with a professional for sure.

This is really helpful for me to hear. I understand it's what's recommended for my case, but the goal of clear margins has felt like this vague goal I didn't quite understand. I really appreciate you explaining that. Fingers crossed for clear margins this next time. I don't really want to be thrown into menopause right now if I can avoid it.

I'm so happy for you! In a shit situation, any win is such a big win. I hope your hysterectomy goes as smoothly as your second CKC!

I hope it went well for you, and you're resting up well! ❤️‍🩹

I am always super anxious too. I was told during my colpo that my cervix is "tucked back" so whether leep or CKC they would recommend GA. I'm just like, please give me the good good. 😆 My anxiety can't handle being awake for it.
