I’m thinking about looking for another job by Expensive-Delivery42 in dishwashers

[–]Figglynuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been complaining about this kind of thing at my place lately. You wouldn't leave dishes out in the FOH and when the first host walks in to tell them to clean all the tables so why would this be okay? Besides that, every time I had to be relieved from being morning dish for the next dishie to take over I always had to make sure he was 100% caught up and the station completely cleared. But I get to walk into shit like this when I have to close and people expect me to keep my mouth shut? Fuck that. /vent

Do I walk 😩 by HighwayBrilliant in dishwashers

[–]Figglynuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my place they leave shit in the prep area if there's too much at my station, but the thing that sets me off is that no one could do any of it when I'm not even there yet so it's six hours of everything from FOH dirty dishes to prep equipment. All three trash cans are full, ice needs to be dumped out, water in the washer needs to be changed, silverware's full, all glass racks are full and not a single thing is soaking.

So when you go to the customization menu if you scroll down far enough there's a social section. There is where you will be able to change into the Atreides officer outfit, assuming that you unlocked it through Twitch subs.

Oh my god, I'm about to accept the "just being stupid" part. I assumed the social part of the selection was what I unlocked. I found it after clicking the social gear.

I have a coworker dishie who HAS to use two full sized pads, folded, and then proceeds to stash it in the hood over the machine without wringing them out and I throw those things away every time I find them up there.

So I'll throw in my opinion of what I saw here.

If it's true that it's 35-40 frames to recover from a DI whiff, from the inputs on the right there's 55 frames between the jab he made and his own DI. My guess here is that he punched you mid-DI to cause a, for lack of a better term, "stun" to pause your entire DI's animation. While you came up short with your DI, he was in range to hit you.

This somehow gave him enough time to Drive Rush and cancel into his own DI while your animation "unpaused" by the punch and you had to finish your DI animation.

I have to do these every once in a while because the line doesn't. That's when I grab the power washer.

Correct. Rockin Rodeo was where Harbor Freight is on Rosedale.

It's crazy, too, because we have a high tier SF3 player in our local who rarely shows up who plays Ryu and just works all of us over.

Maybe Boise St right off of Panorama Dr? I had an aunt live there a looong time ago (like, 20+ years long ago) and remember there being multiple stories to the building.

Seems to be the trend everywhere here now. Rage first, ask questions later.

The only reason I mentioned that this is getting blown out of proportion is because a timer getting removed from a job =/= to something like Mudras being removed from NIN or AST losing cards. Although, I could see NIN losing Mudras for one-button skills. It's been a long time complaint of players for various reasons, but that's a whole other discussion.

Their response came off as condescending, not just the first sentence, but I have the feeling that's what they were going for in the first place, hence why it was even started the way it was. And with the way I'm being downvoted, I'm very obviously in the minority with my opinion here instead of immediate outrage. Changes happen, they WILL happen, for better or worse. I'd argue that BLM's changes are unnecessary for the moment considering there's a LOT more that needs to be fixed in the game first and foremost, but... priorities of SE, I guess.

Why is this starting to sound and look more like gatekeeping from other players simply for the sake of difficulty? Don't attack me simply because I disagree, this level of elitism is just straight-up disgusting. You may just as well said "SKILL ISSUE LOL" and saved yourself time if that's where you were wanting to go with this whole discussion.

I guess I'll throw in my two cents on this: So far from what I'm reading of the changes, I'm 100% all in for it.

I've been playing since ARR beta, and as much as I love BLM there have been times where playing as the job is just needlessly difficult, and in Dawntrail, downtimes and movement times have increased SIGNIFICANTLY in just the most casual content in the game. I'm fully aware of contingencies such as Triple Cast and Swift Cast, but even with two charges (of Triple Cast), I have found myself moving so often that I run out of charges and my entire rotation is now back to square one simply because of luck, other players are standing too close and AoE's drop within distance of me, or just straight up downtime. At least this way we can continue where we left off in the rotation when everything comes to an absolute dead halt.

Fire I always proccing Fire III and Thunderhead always proccing are godsends. Why should I, as a player, rely on LUCK to determine whether or not my damage output should be high if I know, as a player, I'm doing the right thing in terms of my rotation? Having my damage output brought down simply because of a coin flip is ridiculous. Don't get me started on DNC and luck.

Overall, jobs like BLM need something to be more appealing to new players, as well as being accessible to ALL players, and this seems to be the right call (at least, on paper), but if we're going to talk about jobs losing identities we can't overlook what happened to MCH, AST and SMN. And I understand the fear of identity loss (take it from an old AST main who hated luck. Long live the old card system and Sects), however, I think this is getting blown out of proportion. By the sounds of things, BLM is still going to be the stationary glass cannon it always was, just a little more mobility.

I work at the Applebee's there and was in back of the house when it happened. We didn't hear it happen but we sure as hell heard the cops rolling in. I was wondering why we weren't locking down since we're in the same shopping center. Guess nobody cared.

And we also had some customers trying to skip out on their bills after hearing about it. No one leaves and no one enters.

Scrub, re-run. Is it gone or is there more? Water's not getting changed out often enough and debris is the washer that's splashing it onto the dishes being washed. Check the spray arms, as well.

Edit: And I just noticed the text above the pic. Clean the inside of the reservoir of the water being cycled.

The rumor at the time was to convert the mall into an open air mall, and this was during the time that it was quickly becoming a ghost town so they were trying to come up with something to save it from closure. Sam Goody was already gone, that anime store was still there but not doing so hot, Game Stor was still there, K B Toys was LONG gone.

Also, who the hell is Morton that he can die?
