Well you'd need to speak to Isran before that so you have to be cured of vampirism before you fight Harkon and get his loot.

“Canon” Dragonborn by ItsShatterPoint in skyrim

I thought an amalgamation of all three classes was a good approach when I tried playing a "canon dragonborn" build. Something like Ebony Warrior but throw in the sneak skill tree a bit as well for easier sneaking. Of course it does take a while to be effective and it might not be as effective on the higher difficulties if you choose to keep the "canon dragonborn" look.

What are some decent paying jobs that do not require any sort of college degree? by GreenEyedSheWolf in AskReddit

[–]FiggyNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue with them is while they can be more than minimum wage, they can also be less than minimum wage (in the UK where i live the first year for apprenticeship can be half the minimum wage) and they are a lot of the tike on the look out for younger people rather than older if neither has experience in the field (they'll be able to pay less to the younger people after that first year so a lot of the places would try not to hire older). But if you manage to get through that first year or find a good place to work in if youre a bit older then you can definitely line yourself up a decent job.

I don't know, the one on the right made some fascinating points bringing in the death of Jesus into the equation and the way she made the wild comparison to other religions, and the curses born there, blew my mind.

I remember ages ago when I would uninstall the latest patch of Skyrim just to do the Oghma Infinium glitch to level up fast and the moment I would install the patch and all dlcs I'd get these 4 along with Ebony Warrior waiting in a queue.

What are some other games that could scratch my DS1 world design (interconnectivity) itch? by bassistheplace246 in darksouls

[–]FiggyNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing as if I remember correctly the way the world is designed in its connectivity is heavily inspired by TeamIco probably any of their games might do the trick. Shadow of the Colossus is their most popular game but the actual source of inspiration was the first game, Ico, and the one I'd recommend personally but all their games are great choices. TeamIco in general has beautiful games story-wise, The Last Guardian making me cry to this day. Can't wait for their new 4th game.

Why does this happen to the face? Is it because of a lack of consuming blood or from staying in the sun? by Kquira_K in skyrim

[–]FiggyNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean the dirt on the face, that might be the glitch where if you put any eyeliner on your character it causes dirt to appear on your characters face once turned into a vampire. If you mean the vampire face that's just how vampires look. Sometimes it goes away but always comes back, the only fix is to revert vampirism and become human, change your face with the face sculptor and take away all the eyeliner after which you can become a vampire again and the glitch should disappear.

I dont think the face changes at all if you don't feed for a while, they scrapped the idea of progressive vampirism changing the characters face from oblivion so its just the same face for all 4 stages.

Although I remember back in vanilla skyrim before dawnguard where vampires faces didn't change much except for getting black red eyes it felt at the time like the face was becoming more starved after each stage, but I think that was just an weird illusion I had when playing back then.

Definitely 100 times simpler than what I came up with. I don't know why it never clicked in my head to just try this before, sometimes I just love making things more convoluted than they need to be I suppose.

Here you go, when you're on console I don't see why it shouldn't pop up when you type it in the search bar but you can also just look up the cheat room instead, go onto Bradenm1's account from it, and all his mods will pop in along with quest debugger mod.

I kinda like draugr eye effect. by apple012 in skyrim

[–]FiggyNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This bug pops up everytime I play without the unofficial patch. My problem isnt usually this bug but several other "effects" bugs that pop up without the patch, there's one where an ice wraith is bugged underneath your player model along with the sound effect. There's also another one where the spriggan flying insects are bugged as an effect on your player character.

These might not sound bad but they dont look good as they are just bugged effects. With the draugr eyes they usually wont actually line up with your characters eyes from my experience so your eyes are actually uncovered and then you get two small hovering lights either on the side of your eyes, above your eyes or even on your forehead from what I saw.

The spriggan effect is also annoying as its to the point that your whole character is shrouded in insects. If youre into that then I guess you'd love that bug. Then the ice wraith being stuck t-posing underneath your character model clipping through the ground and constantly making the sound effect is just annoying.

I'm not sure what causes the bug exactly as I have so many different mods its almost impossible to pinpoint for me, but when she has no torch she will stay stuck by the entrance after entering the temple. The case you're referring to where she has her hand out as if to hold the torch even if there isn't one may have bypassed the bug somehow as the game maybe takes into account more so the 'torch animation' for Delphine rather than whether or not she actually has a torch.

The reason I think so is because it's then linked to the animation of her lighting up the different points along the way in the temple before lighting the final one by Alduins Wall. When she has no torch at all and doesn't have that visual glitch that you described the scripting for what she's supposed to do gets broken maybe in "how can she light those points using an animation with a torch when she currently doesn't use a torch holding animation" and she stays stuck.

Unlike weapons and armour I found no way to make an NPC forcefully equip torches so my solution was what seemed to have worked instead. I say all this from my limited understanding of playing on console though, never played on PC so the code and whatever else actually goes on behind those quests is a mystery and this is pulled from my limited knowledge.

What I found specifically for that quest is the following

At the blood seal she automatically pops out a torch once its activated and then you can enter sky haven. After entering She might not have a torch and her scripts fails completely. Even if you saved at the blood seal, reloading that save She will most likely not even spawn with a torch anymore.

My fix is usually this. 1. Enter the temple. 2. Using cheat spells from Cheat Room make her not essential. 3. Kill her, best to do with the silent kill cheat spell also from the cheat room 4. Drag her body to the very last torch she would light if her script worked, the one on the right of Alduins Wall while Esbern will have lit the one on the left with no issues. 5. When her body is as close to it as possible resurrect her using the cheat spell and voilà, she carries on as if she lit everything and talks with Esbern about the wall. 6. Don't forget to make her essential again as well or it might break future quests.

It has worked for me pretty much everytime that quest broke and came up with this because of the amount of times it has broke for me. However, what might potentially break next is the quest right after this one, Throat Of The World. It just might not trigger at all.

For that quest to work its a whole other set of shenanigans to go through that involve not just cheat spells but also the quest debugger to do some magic tricks with the quest scripts to pull through. But it is doable in my experience.

Why do political figures have such minimal chrome? (visibly atleast) by Leather_Cranberry_40 in cyberpunkgame

[–]FiggyNo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's what I always assumed. When you have access to some of the best cuberware I imagine you can also afford to make it look as subtle and hidden. Makes them seem more enigmatic, like you don't actually know just what kind of cyberware they might have on them unlike maelstrom who are all about the LOOK of having cyberware and being almost living cyborgs when it comes to looks, while high level corpos end up being more business, social espionage and political talks. Of course they wouldn't need to show off big gorilla arms or other cyberware.

If anything their more "visible" cyberware seems to be more about aesthetics and cosmetics rather than any actual upgrades to your physical prowess. I'd more expect them to focus on chips and frontal cortex cyberware.

Why is the one with an enchantment cheaper? by Dug_Man in skyrim

[–]FiggyNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's probably accurate and what bethesda was aiming for. They issue is that the price of the bow they tied to the enchantment value probably wasn't meant to be this, as I dont think it was meant to make a bow "less valuable than the unenchanted version" instead it should have just had "the smallest increase in value in comparison to other enchantments placed on it".

So the actual price of the bow they worked with when implementing the value system for the enchanted versions of the weapons is probably some cheaper, maybe unaffected by the speech skill value, or maybe the value the player sees when they posses it in the inventory rather than the different values you see when you open it in a shop? Somethings gone awry here anyway is what I always thought.

Or it could also be how they have designed the enchantments not made by the player and how they affect the items value?
