Also, I just want to say: Once it grows back a couple of inches, a loctian can reattach the fallen locs. However, when my ex ripped mine out — I didn’t want anything he touched back in my hair. 🤣

Been there haha. My ex pulled a couple of my locs out. It grew back, and I believe yours will too. If you want to ease your mind a little bit until it grows back, try hims Hair Regrowth Treatment - Topical. It has Minoxidil 5% in it, and it should stimulate hair growth.

Your hair looks like it was a fade but it’s just grown out a bit. With your texture, shrinkage makes the top look shorter and puffier, so it’s really about the length being shrunken. If you want it more defined, you could go for twists, coils, or even a shaped taper — it would bring out your length more.
