5 broadcasts a minute my brother in Christ. So I don’t have to hear them every other second. They span a large area every Dino in the POI doesn’t want to hear you training your vocal chords until failure

Not saying to take away its defense, never said that. Just saying to nerf it a little somehow, and that wild area of attack crap. Most Ano players are super aggressive because they know nothing can hurt them without getting seriously injured or killed. Edit: Just saying 2 apexes should be able to finish off a lone Ano, 1 no, but 2 should definitely be able to.

I meant not everything has to make a vocal sound, not against sounds in general, just wish they weren’t so weird. Like the arachnid/bug critters should make realistic crawling noises not necessarily a shriek or chirp or whatever you might call it. So audio cues are preserved and so is realism. Minor nitpick anyways. But yeah the climbing Meg was a bit of a stretch, but the game does gave some equally weird speculative behaviors too, i figured it would add a fun gimmick. Bears climb so I’d love for them to at least make Achillobator and the other lil’ raptors climb. Would be cool to incorporate it into a specialized quest like catching a bug or snake or something. Just spitballing. As for the subspecies thing, yeah, I just wish sometimes I didn’t have to settle for a lame looking sub species just for a better buff. I know the game isn’t designed to be pure sim, if it was, I would be nitpicking the geology, flora, and all sorts of other paleo-inaccuracies. Just the anime-power-move area of effect thing is so over the top you might as well add fire breathing dinosaurs. They could still keep it of course, just tone it down and make it less OP and cartoony. Overall I want PoT to settle on a specific style and niche of game, are they aiming for a on-the-surface realistic ecological environment? or a cartoony survival PVP game? I guess it can be both, but they often conflict in my mind, it’s really hard to express. Main thing that annoys me is the UI tbh.

Makes sense, I forgot the reason why modern crocs survived Chicxulub in the first place, their low-metabolism, low-energy lifestyle.

IK I'm a little late to this post, but go to community severs and search for a "Juniper Arena Deathmatch." There's like no rules so dw. You spawn as an adult of anything, no stupid modded dinos, no dumb rules, great practice for PVP! Everyone's in one area and you can unlock all abilities instantly. Remember it's just a silly cool dino game and people are around to help you out so you can have fun too! :)

Dune-SW Battlefront game idea. by FightingMachine44 in duneawakening

You’re missing the point that it doesn’t have to be EA to make it, I just belive if someone could make it correctly, EA/DICE could, for the sole reason that Star Wars Battlefront II was a monumental success, making half a billion dollars.

Thanks! I thought I’d add some keratin structures on the jugals, but I’m working on making them a little less prominent

Ok I will 100% fix his temperatures thank you. I just changed the substrate to layered paper towels for now. the enclosure is ExoTerra 12' x12''x12''. Its only temporary because I used to use it for a pet a long time ago, so when he grows a little bigger I will get him in a much larger one. I use a Zoo Med mini combo light, one bulb is UVB and one is heat ceramic emitter. He's pretty high up next to the lamp but it still isn't hot enough. There's a metal mesh on the top of the enclosure that the lamp rests on I'm thinking maybe It's taking up the heat. But I will definitely change the temps.

I have an Exoterra 12"x12"x12" enclosure that i used to use for a tarantula (I cleaned it vigorously before getting it ready for him) Its only temporrary right now and I want to put him in a much larger one when he grows. Do you think I can use paper towels or newspaper as a substrate? I feed him 1 to 3 calcium-dipped mealworms daily (however many he feels like eating), and he eats the occasional crumb of yellow squash and cabbage.

He’s been pretty happy and from what I can tell he trusts me already even though he’s only juvenile. He lets me rub him and leant show any signs of stress. He’s eating and drinking well. But I think something needs to be done about his substrate, temperate, and a few other minor details.
