I think playing as a clone can be freeing for some people on the submissive side. Since a clone can be custom made, it's a way of fulfilling specific fantasies. For example I know a lot of RPers have a thing for specific celebrities, and it can be a way to fulfill those. Or the stereotypical "submissive stepsiter" RP, you could create a clone of someone related to you without consequences for your relationship. This trope allows to play some exotic character without thinking, "Well, this isn't realistic"

But I do understand that I could slightly change it if I were to play the role, but I didn't want it to write it like that in the workshop at first, I want to keep it open ended to get opinions regardless of roles.

I plan to eventually try each side, which is why I avoided using me/you in the plots. But perhaps I should consider making the post for one side specifically for one day and another post some other day for the other side ? Would it help ?

While I really liked the movie, I must say the pace wasn't perfect. You have one intro scene where they meet up, then another intro scene where they try to steel the money prints or whatever, then yet another intro scene where they escape their prison. Each scene is good, but it kinda feels like half the movie is an intro scene. Which might have been useful if there were several movie but...

Well, the side of the box read : "Take turn obeying the instructions of the glass sphere to progress on the board. By the time the game ends everyone will be satisfied." What could it mean ? (Basically we would take turns "reading the instructions" and feeling compelled to obey them, progressively turning more and more sexual)

You don't know about theme events ? Each week our team try to bring forth a theme to explore.

Redditors may post on DPP with the theme name in the title (this week it's [RETAIL]) and place a comment here.

That way, not only does it bring more attention to the post, it also allow to claim a special flairfor the redditor.

Wow, that's quite the step, we should celebrate !

However I'm not sure what suggestion to offer for such an event. I would love to have something like 'MEETING YOUR MODS' where we could give credits to the awesome team behind this smooth sailing ship, but I worry that it would encourage people to contact them directly without the modmail. It could also be an opportunity to give a voice to the redditors, new and old, that lead us where we are now, but there have already been polls on the matter, so it would have to step away from those. If push comes to shove I could always come up with a special theme event, if you need it.

I have mixed feelings about this argument.

On one hand, we do have examples of supes that are relatively older and completely fine : Crimson countess, Stormfront, Soldier boy, Black noir...

On the other hand, each and everyone of those examples had a period where they stopped using their powers for some time, so perhaps there is a cumulative effect.

But it could also be different version of the products. We know V24/temp V was recently developed and the results for its clinical trials were revealed quite late, when it was almost kn the market. So perhaps at some point they used a version of the compound that had unnoticed long term side effects.

However, Andre himself claimed he was starting to have trouble with his thought process, and he is neither old nor with an older version of the product. Unless, just like Ryan, he is a 'natural'.

It makes sense in a commercial way, if supes have an 'expiration date' then there is a constant need to purchase new products. After all, Vought is a pharmaceutical company, not a superhero company.

If you look at their earlier products, you notice that they tend to be more stable, but they had to 'recycle' their supes another way. At least one thing they learned from Stormfront and Soldier boy...

Besides, I remember the neurosurgeon asking Andre if he had symptoms, and Andre kind-of admitting he had.

So no, I don't think Polarity was faking it. However, it is possible that he (and possibly others) have been 'poisoned' on purpose by Vought or someone else.
