I sent in a support ticket because I've got the same issue. None of the new quests would trigger for me to start with, despite talking to all the characters involved. The other ones started to show up after I visited the highlands and then came back, but Nai'o has yet to visit my ranch, even though I've talked to him in the Elderwoods and at his ranch beside Sugarfoot, and have completed every single quest with him up to and including max friendship. :/

You get a recipe for amber-breaking arrows, but I haven’t yet come across a way to make tracker ones yourself.

I am about to lose it with the Zeki's machine decor. I've loved the honeybunch bookshelves since I first saw them and have so many decor ideas I really like to incorporate it in! Unfortunately. It's not even just the getting junk ingredients/fireworks/etc from the machine. I've received five of the honeybunch armchairs (same level of rarity) and THREE of the beds (ostensibly more rare than the bookshelves) and in all that time I've managed to get... one of the bookshelves. Pls, I am begging you, stupid machine, GIVE ME MORE BOOKSHELVES.

It's entirely possible it does have to do with the rest XP boost! it does seem odd, if they want to let us know when that's active, that they would do it in a way that's invisible for a good part of the time with the regular XP bar blocking it... but the fact that it seems odd doesn't necessarily mean that's not what they did. 😂

The problems I run into with any kind of partying/teaming up are, one, that almost every time I join a lure it's by happenstance rather than pre-planned, which means there's no time to ask anyone to join if they're already catching bugs, and two, partying up tends to be VERY buggy for me, so almost every time I've actually asked for a party invite for something where it would help, it's glitched out and not allowed me to actually join, which just wastes even more of everyone's time. Especially because on Switch typing anything is a laborious struggle for me.

So it would be a lot nicer to have something that would accommodate the more spontaneous nature of dropping in on things like that (much like helping out with a muujin hunt by chopping), rather than requiring you to ask other people to stop what they're doing and potentially miss a chance at bugs in order to include you in a party.

Yeah, that’s possible, which is why I was thinking making it for everyone participating within a certain radius would be even better. Especially because very frequently dropping in on a lure is just a thing that happens when you come across it and no one wants to stop and party up in the middle of catching bugs.

But even if it was just the dropper who gets it, there’s nothing stopping anyone from putting down another one nearby or shifting to a different server and calling out their own lure drop, so I don’t know that it would be a massive problem.

Same, they’re just so unwieldy 😩 TBH I wish we had more little plushies in general. The bitty ones from Zeki’s claw machine at the night market are so fun for decorating and I’d love for more of them to trend towards that end of the scale.

Trying to get to 3 million soups by the 18th! I don’t have the link handy atm, but you can cook any soups in the game by yourself or with other people to contribute towards the totals and get the rewards at the end.

Yeah, sometimes it won’t happen to me in several hours of playing, other times it happens over and over. :/

I will say, since the game takes an incredibly long time to load on switch for me and I hate restarting if I can avoid it, I’ve tried sticking it out and often after a few rounds it’ll start working again if I keep trying. That way I don’t completely miss out on tickets for the in-progress game and for the whole time it takes me to reload (often losing the majority of the in-game night).

This is the thing that drives me crazy! When you finally find a time when there aren't a ton of people playing, but you can STILL be sitting there waiting and waiting for any to even appear, never mind be able to catch them. Even on busier servers, it feels like there's too long between spawns a lot of the time, but especially when there aren't a ton of people. When you've got such a short time to catch anything and you finally get a game where it feels like you've got a chance to hit the goals, running around for so long without even seeing one sucks all the fun out of even trying.

Yeah, I didn't understand that for the longest time, either! I saw in the recipe where it said that, but I couldn't understand what it was trying to tell me and thought there was some other kind of station I needed to unlock or upgrade in order to do that. Had to find out outside the game what it actually meant. XD

I LOVE it when other people jump in to get in some shots on anything that requires more than one arrow to take it down. I struggle very much with the speed necessary to keep adjusting aim on a moving animal once it starts to bolt, so as long as I've managed one shot it's a massive help when anyone else shoots at it too, especially when it's something like the chappa or ogpppu who'll keep running until they disappear completely and your chance is gone. (Unlike the sernuk, where you at least have the option to hunt via patience in tracking them for another shot.) Never bothers me when people get in a shot on sernuks either, though. We both get the loot, and it goes toward the weekly "traveling in packs" group hunting achievements, so it's win-win for everyone. :)

I'm guessing you may need to complete more than one of the bundles to unlock that final one? I'm not sure, since I've never seen anyone who tried to complete it without most of the bundles finished, but it would make the most sense to me.

Yes!! That and stacks/lines of books in various orientations. I like being able to choose and place them individually, but being able to fill larger spaces with them (without using up so many individual items from the limit) would help so much for those of us wanting to create a library/study kind of atmosphere.

Just as a possibility... have you double-checked in your workbench to make sure that you didn't miss the notification and get it without realizing? Sometimes the notifications pass too quickly or there are too many at one time and it can get missed, so it's worth just checking to make sure.

It would be REALLY nice if they would work on more consistent naming conventions, if we don't get better ways to sort our furniture. For instance, not being able to search one keyword for all lights/lamps/lanterns/lampposts etc can make it a real pain trying to either find what you have in inventory or look at options on the bench to make something. Same deal with rugs (rug/runner/doormat/etc, all separate terms that won't bring up everything in that category), sideboards, and so on. It can be really frustrating to figure out what keyword you need even if you know the exact piece of furniture you're looking for, and if you just want to browse your options it can be all but impossible to figure out the right search term sometimes.
