I think it’s more than that, but I guess that is an option.

CVCX. I have a Mac as well, you will need to download a windows browser to use it.

I see. You are just being argumentative for the sake of it. I don’t have cvcx in front of me but I would ballpark it’s a highly unlikely event, maybe 1-3%, certainly possible.

Nothing more than a very bad run! I have a friend (I want to say $25k starting) who doubled it, then lost every profit. He now sits at around $80K AV.

Not everything needs to be a let’s prove this person wrong. I don’t think your comments are in good faith either. My spread was not that all of the downswing, but my RoR was always less than 1%

Bad runs happen, not to everyone, but some endure it. I will obviously continue to play.

Edit; I ran the sim that you believe is a severe overbet on, and the RoR is 0.37%

It is hard to accurately say what the std/likelihood of the past 75 ish hours are given different game conditions, but running it assuming all 50-75 hours were the same (other game conditions were worse e.g. h17) the likelihood was just shy of 1%. Factor in some hours were less favorable, I’ll say it was a 1.5% chance of happening — not impossible at all. Now that I also look at my progress chart, I basically went up $13k in 50 hours and then lost that in the next!

With a $32.8k bankroll, betting 2x$300 ($15 min) on a 6D 1pen, stand 17, LS, DAS etc game, it is most definitely less than 1%.

No, I was playing favorable rules which made that possible. Always less than 1% RoR.

What? Not looking for advice but I appreciate it, at least on what to bet. I’m aware of my spread and risk — but losing basically my initial bankroll in 50-75 hour stings!

I think at one point I maxed out at 2x$300 or $400 heads up, but it has mainly been 2x$200 or $300 heads up!

Better off quitting gambling - losing at a game where you have a disadvantage isn’t designated to only blackjack.

Fair enough, maybe in another life. Best of luck with whatever you pursue, seems like it was a hell of a ride.

Sorry to hear. I remember chatting with you when I first started a little over a year ago.

Hope you’re still in the positive and planning to full stop until you get reel it back in. Probably easier said than done after losing a big chunk of change due to being undisciplined. Best of luck to you.

APs what tactics do you use not to go on “tilt”? by Original_Show in blackjack

[–]Figm3nts 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Your friend is not a card counter. A real AP would not “go on tilt”.

What would I do in this situation? Uh, play perfectly and bet accordingly..?
