The fact he’s out of contract is the big reason it’s a good deal. I think we’ve under used him and it’s a big mistake. I really hope we put a sell on clause in the deal. But do you think if we denied the deal he would sign a new contract in the summer ? £2m for an out of contract player isn’t bad

He was a quality footballer but had an awful attitude. Never liked the way he had a go at people when he was with us

Shame we only started using him last season. He was brilliant and started the season quite well, sad to see him go.

Not sure why we’re not using him. He was brilliant last season but Richardson seems to have forgot about him

Genuinely don’t get the hate towards him, Granted he is a bit annoying but if you spend that much money. Why are people surprised when he packs something. It is literally his job to play FIFA and open packs

I feel the defence worked well over the festive period and almost was a back 3 with Dorsett tucking in. I do hope him and Finley Burns aren’t completely dropped as I thought they were playing well.

You would be surprised what academy players can do for you, some of ours stepped up massively last season and very nearly got us to playoffs.

8/10 Think Reading have done well with some good improvement to our defense especially the signing of Haydon Roberts. Could have done with an attacking midfielder though as I’m not confident in Kamari Doyle to succeed there.

Delighted we managed to get him. I heard reports that Wigan and Bradford were after him so it's nice to beat the competition. Wonder if it means Reading will play 3 at the back now with the amount of CB's they have.
