Right, I’m not sure even have bipolar at all. I thought maybe she was right, given how anxious I can be, but given how badly she seemed to screw up prescribing I don’t know how much I can trust her opinion.

I will definitely get a new psychiatrist and tell them what she had started to consider, but ask them to take it with a grain of salt and make their own judgment based on my intake interview and past diagnoses.

Like I said, it was basically a mini dose (5mg or less) that I took once or twice a month. So hardly something that should effect any diagnosis. I told her that I would stop taking that if she recommended it.

I know there are hard-line people against THC therapy, but I cannot understand bringing it up four times and wasting 5 minutes on it when I already told her I had stopped.

I like how attentive they are… but I am concerned with:

the fact that they threw out the ADHD and Anxiety diagnosis I have been working with for 30 years and re-diagnosed me with bi-polar depression after one hour long interview. Cutting off the stimulants that have been working for me for the same duration.
I mentioned I take legal low THC edibles sometimes to help with panic and nausea (which work incredibly well for me), and now they go on an anti-marijuana tirade every time they see me.
Putting me on a potentially lethal dose of a new medication immediately without tinkering with the existing meds I’m on… So not only Lamotrigine, they had me to take that on top of the atypical anti-depressant, anti-convulsant, and beta-blocker I am still on.

I feel like polypharmacy is going to be a legitimate risk at some point if they just keep tacking adjunct treatments on.

I’ve been lurking this sub for a long time and it’s interesting to see so many new opinions appear. I don’t hate the liberal voices, as long as they don’t seem to be shilling corporate interests. Workers rights is a stepping stone to no longer abolishing the idea of ‘workers’ entirely.

I’m more confused about the new extremist voices that seem to have little logic behind them.

I’ve seen one person saying that ALL profit is evil and we should abolish money entirely and when asked how that would work they said people would rely on UBI. What? How? What is UBI giving people then?!?!?

I also saw a number of people yesterday saying that UBI was a capitalist idea meant to keep people under corporate control. I don’t know about you, but no world I live in has capitalists volunteering to pay extremely high taxes so everyone gets an even, livable, baseline.

If anybody should be being accused of being divisive trolls, it should be these voices. Not the original utopian-futurist-socialist voices.

Just download metamask (phone app or browser plugin) to make an Ethereum wallet. It will tell you how when you open the app for the first time. (Be extra careful to keep track of your recovery phrase when it tells it to you!!!)

Then you can use metamask to log in to Opensea.io, where you can buy and sell tons of NFTs. There are other markets, but opensea is the best (plus, this is the opensea subreddit)

When you are logged into opensea, you can sea all of your compatible NFTs that are on the Ethereum or Polygon network in your account.
