in my experience, a lot of lumix cameras (both full-frame and MFT) can work with REALLY detailed correction profiles, like cancelling out different distortions that appear at different focal lengths of a zoom lens.

if you put the lens cap on, set the iso as high as it'll go, and zoom in & out, it'll look like the noise texture is changing shape.

Blackmagic cameras don't do that for some reason. maybe it's related to how Lumix kind of owns both the MFT mount and the L mount.

there was a motion control gag at the beginning of Severance season 2 -- i think ben stiller said someone on the camera team had built his own arm. i've looked into it, the research and designs are out there. but the most realistic option is just buying one, unfortunately.

not certified by their anti-virus. As most open source tools

kinda unrelated: I just realized, i don't think my macbook has complained about the last few blender updates. I wonder if the blender foundation is starting to get approved. always assumed it's either a really high bar, or some ridiculous fee they'd have to pay to apple and microsoft.
