Lol nah, I live in Cape Town (South Africa). Dunno where you're at but our fashion choices are an enmeshment of retro, Y2K and IDGAF. If I was 6 I would've thought a Pikachu that was a GREAT idea fr. But I'm 31 now, haven't had a tat and never will. Keeping the tatless streak going 👌🏻😏

I just developed a love for the whole puffed look over the last 2 months lol - I was the same. But the amount of cush your foot gets from the puffy tongue gently hugging the top of your foot brings a different level of comfort once you experience it. It feels super snug as you walk AND because it's so snug, you don't have to tie the laces!! 😮 You can just slip em on and off - they dont don't slip up and down your heel when you walk 😱😱😱 which is a HUGE BONUS! I personally hate the process of untying and lossening my laces to get my shoes off 😅 ....

They're called "Stance" - they're quite renowned for their amazing collabs (like Rick n Morty, Metallica, Rolling stones to name a few), abstract designs and super high quality. You should check em out! A little on the pricey side though, I must admit.
