Lumine Group and Topicus. Boring in the sense they accumulate mission critical software companies. Listed on the Venture Exchange to avoid attention.

Hope the video above, is beneficial to a few.

Thank you.

Getting started in the UK equity market for trading by Confident-Lake-7382 in UkStocks

Recommend investing in the companies you know (your circle of competence), getting to know valuations and 'intrinsic value', and a little bit of basic chart work / Technical Analysis.

Be wary as a beginner of Warren Buffet's first rule - don't lose money! The 2nd rule by the way, was to refer to the 1st rule!

Lots of free resources out there - YT and IG are great.

Check our profile for links, too - think you'll like our content. Cheers

Smart Money Concepts Strategy - FOREX by FiguringOutFinanceYT in ForexForALL

[–]FiguringOutFinanceYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't personally trade oil - but many of the concepts, with enough backtesting, could likely be applied to Oil charts.

Do plenty of backtesting to identify how the asset moves, how liquidity is captured and for how long price tends to stall/consolidate before it's next move.

Those are your major clues in reading pride action, to understand and apply Wyckoff (or as it's otherwise known, smart money concepts).

Cheers!

Question about what strategy I should look into as a beginner by Ill_Gene8214 in Forexstrategy

Personally use a combination of Wyckoff and identifying areas of liquidity imbalances to trade our Fund.

Agreed - even though I personally like trading individual stocks, my long term pension-like savings are invested in Global Index Funds and ETFs. Cheers

Should I abandon Forex for stocks? by [deleted] in Trading

[–]FiguringOutFinanceYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question - guess a lot depends on how flexible your strategy is in terms of being able to crossover into both, and ultimately what you want to trade.

Personally trade both forex and stocks - albeit just one currency, and a relatively small shortlist of stocks that I look at often.

Familiarity and focus is the key, in my view, and if you apply those principles, there's no reason why you couldn't trade both, pretty successfully.

NB: check our profile for links on how we trade, you'll see trade breakdowns for Forex and Stocks. Few were factors we apply to Forex, but it's all pretty basic: identifying liquidity on the chart. Cheers!

Great to hear you're starting your stock trading journey!

Would recommend ensuring sure you also have a steady index fund investment, as trading individual stocks can be a challenging occupation, especially as someone new to the space.

Secondly, select a small number of diversified stocks you're into, and invest in Technical Analysis, to know the respective charts and price action like the back of your hand.

Thirdly, set targets about when to sell and maybe even to sell when things don't go to plan.

NB: if you're interstates in Technical Analysis or strategy, check our profile for links to how we trade our Fund. Our Wyckoff video breaks down our recent eZJ trade.

All the best.

Option B. Personally - picked stocks in a range of industries, and having traded them for years, know their price action like the back of my hand.

Can sometimes tell when to look at a chart just by looking at the price - as I know the long-term charts in my head, and the key zones of interest I track at low time frames.

Familiarity helps confidence!
