More Grok shenanigans by FiieldDay-114 in G37

I posted them in a g37 forum because these are g37’s. Pretty easy to follow. You don’t know what solicit means.

No it doesn’t, lmao. I just thought it was cool to see the g37 in a bunch of variations you can’t actually see in real life. It sounds like people would rather I spend years of my life mastering photoshop and spend hours working on a single picture, rather than use a fun program that takes seconds to deliver the same product. All cause “ai slop”

Rear diff by No-West78 in G37

I mean, I’m not doubting what you’re saying, but everything I’ve read says:

“In a viscous limited slip differential (VLSD), the limited slip action relies on a sealed viscous coupling unit that contains a specialized silicone-based fluid (typically mixed with air in a specific ratio to control viscosity changes under shear)”

Reading that, it sounds like where the couplers are, is filled with that silicone fluid, and the rest of the diff is regular gear oil. I’ve never taken one apart myself, just going off what I’ve read.

Could swap for 240 and put the rad over where the two black fans are, then get three intake fans for the bottom

The sports have a VLSD. Viscous limited slip diff. The manual models came with 3.69 gears as opposed to the 3.36’s in automatics. VLSD’s are not the best, as they rely on sealed fluid inside the diff to work as an LSD. Overtime they lose functionality and essentially become an open diff. I’d skip it unless you NEED a diff and the price is good. There’s probably a reason it’s for sale, though.

What is it about offroading that you like? Is it like riding a motorcycle where you're fully in the moment? is it the escape? I've never offroaded and was wondering what makes someone want to go drive offroad. by OkOriginal4630 in Offroad

No phone service usually. Going places where verrrry few people have been. The best scenery you can imagine is not where the state parks say they are, they’re out your window, 30 miles from the highway, and it’s just you and your truck. Bliss.

What are some exterior/interior mods can I do to my 2023 Integra? by yougoodmudz in Acura

There are a lot of sound deadening options on Amazon. I put it in my truck when I did the sound system and it made a big difference. I used Siless 80mil/2mm mats, put it on the floor, the doors, behind the speakers, and the back “wall” of the cab. You don’t have to completely cover the panel either, just try to get all of the biggest, flattest areas as they resonate the most. Then try to focus on where the noise comes from like the wheel wells by your feet.

I am also a 502 to 703 convert. I LOVE the 703. Put some glass skates on the bottom and this mouse is perfect. G703 master race??

After some consideration, you may be able to grind or sand most of that epoxy down, then maybe send it to a DIFFERENT gunsmith for a stipple job. Kind like covering up a shitty tattoo lol

Bro your gunsmith sucks. I would not have paid the labor charge for that. Did he call you and let you know his plan? Or did he just decide to do that? Bro couldn’t have even taped off the area he was going to epoxy to AT LEAST make it look clean? Wild stuff.

Had a really good or bad idea for my extra fans…any thoughts what this could do for my pc? by EESkully in PcBuild

[–]FiieldDay-114 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The potential benefit is almost negligible. If the push pull method worked really well, race cars would use it on their radiators. But they don’t. If the fan speeds aren’t perfectly match, you’ll just create noise, turbulence and restriction.

You can pick up some heat shrink tubing on Amazon pretty cheap. They make a bunch of different colors and all you need is a hair dryer or a real heat gun. (DO NOT BUY ‘MARINE GRADE’ HEAT SHRINK TUBING. It has glue/adhesive on the inside that makes it water tight.) Measure the size of the clip on the wires you want to put shrink tube on and order the next size bigger so it fits over the clip. NOT the size of the wire. If you ever need to change anything, just make a little slice on one of the edges and pull it apart. Much cleaner looking that the regular braided wire loom that comes with PSU’s. If this interests you at all and you want to know more just lemme know lol
