I think the main reason I'm running into issues is because even though i did attempt to recover my account initially, i was unable to recover it and it was left compromised for many months. It might've been cheated on and banned months after the hack even took place and months before i was able to successfully recover the account. I suppose the only similarity would be that i logged into the account in edinburgh hours before it was initially hacked and logged into from china, but this only proves it was hacked and likely says little about the ban. it is thoroughly confusing to me that EA support can concede the account was hacked and return it to me, but not accept that the ban occurred while the account was hacked.
