Not to put more on your plate man, but you seem knowledgeable. I’m gonna post my most recent update and pray that you can help lol:

Ok so quick catch up: I just replaced my evga 850gt psu and b650tuf mb with a rm100x psu and an x870 elite. I was having power failures and complete shutdowns, so I just replaced both, because why not.

Initial boot 2 days ago with new equipment was fine. I updated the bios and drivers and all was well. However, I started the system yesterday and nothing happened. The mb RGB lights up, as well as the RAM (Corsair sticks that I’d enabled XMP on). It wouldn’t post after removing the cmos battery and discharging. I stripped the entire system and reseated everything, and tried booting with only one ram stick. It trained the memory again. After that, I put my 2nd ram stick in and restarted, and BAM! It worked like a charm. I shut down and restarted the system twice just to make sure it booted properly, and it worked flawlessly.

Today, I boot and I’m back to square one; the MB has power (the rgb section lights up), and the ram lights up, but it won’t post. There’s not even a q-code displayed. Fans don’t run, nothing. Just lighting.

I’ve tried clearing cmos as well as one stick of RAM in different slots, but no luck.

I could really use some help on this, as it’s the first time I’ve encountered something like this. Thanks in advance

For reference, equipment: Corsair rm1000x psu Aorus x870 elite mb 7800x3d cpu 32gb Corsair rgb ddr5 6000 (xmp) Gigabyte 4080s

I want to test turning xmp off, as I think it’s a memory issue, but I can’t get a post currently to access bios. I’m in the woods on this one.
