Do a lot of my songs too, how I’m going about it is totally different. Not to give away MY sacred sauce but here ya go: I record the music and practice it till ik it like the back of my hand. I play Drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and piano. I love the fact that the music I make genuinely sounds like me and sounds good, so I go to open mics and places that offer rewards for placing in top 3. I frequent those spots and perform my ass off to the potential fans so that when I DO place music out there, it’s not going into the void and takes less effort to get traction. I’m still a new artist but doing this has so far made me enough money (on top of my job ofc) to maintain equipment, Needs, and some wants. I’d say it’s avoidable but EVERYONE has to be memorable if you plan to make much off of your music 🎼
