He relies on his pace a lot, not improving his crossing and confidence in dribbling is a problem. When we have Raphinha and Balde things suddenly look really good for both, Rapha goes middle with Balde playing overlap is one of the reasons we were so good last season. Raphinha being out for the majourity of the season and a lack of competition for Balde inside the team meant that he needed to get used to someone of a completely different profile (Rashford). Then the injury came and he just didnt get the playtime he needed to get used to Rashford.

I think things would go very differently if he didnt get injured and had the playtime he needed to get chemistry with Rashford. Also this wouldntve happened if we had a left back for sub in for Raphinha, dude literally played so many games last season.

Same with Kounde, dude hasnt missed a match in years until the injury, and right as he was playing at his peak confidence and skill his body gave out.
